ok so i partioned my sd card.,. but not clicking the ext.... so i panicked because it said i had nothing to flash and did a nand back up... what did i just do? i started up the phone and it seems fine.. see my apps and stuff but im not sure what i did.. someone please help??

if you partitioned your sdcard you wiped it

things on your sdcard arent going to effect whether your rooted or not. just copy it all back and there wont be any issues. you can look all over for themes, my new personal favorite is transparent chaos, you can check it out here

metamorph.
download the app from the market. download a theme from the internet and put it in the AndroidThemes folder on your sdcard

then fire up metamorph and apply it

well i already had metamorph on my phone ? i guess? so then i dragged the file into android themes on my sd. i downloaded the one you said. 2worked, but the others say doesnt exist

look in the write up. it tells you what to install, where to install it, and what to name it

root explorer. it says install them in /system/app so it needs to have r/w access on your /system folder. astro doesmt offer that AFAIK
