How to fix bricked LG Optimus V with S firmware!

Ok, so I have figured out a way to unbrick your phone using LG Optimus S firmware, i'm looking for someone to test this out. I made a guide but I want to be 100% sure that it will work for other people. I have the lg optimus s firmware on my phone, I have working data, mms, and calling. If you don't belive me you can ask AndyOpie150, I have been pming him alot about my guide and my phone.

I'm trying to find someone to test it. Just because I managed to get it to work on my phone dosn't mean it works. Btw I like your rom.
 
Okay, so I have walked/did-the-work-for-him kiler14321 threw my guide. He now has working 3G, MMS, Calling, and a rom he called "sick" (Backside-IHO). I am now 100% sure that this will work and am ready to check my spelling on the guide before posting it. Should be posted by late tonight or early morning tomorrow.

This is all on Virgin Mobile. No other network.
The new update sort-of-fixes what the S firmware breaks.

just an observation. i've went to the zvh and back now a couple times now. if thats a screenshot from the stock virgin mobile rom after flashing the the official update.zip. return to the stock recovery and flash the update.zip again and the SW Version will change to VM670ZV9. i think what you have now is fully working sprint ZVD radio... which isnt bad... it should actualy be newer and better then the VM670ZV9. check what it says in /sys/devices/system/soc/soc0/build_id if it says LS670ZVD the Radio firmware from the update.zip didnt take. like i said tho... no matter... a fully working ZVD radio is just as good maybe better (ZV9 seems to be causeing issues).

No, it has the zv9 radio. This was a thread asking for a tester to get 3G and MMS to work after flash the S firmware. The S firmware breaks the phones 3G and MMS, but I have figured out how to fix that.
 
Go to the All Things Root Guide. You will find his Guide on how to unbrick using the S firmware in the Guides section.
