Went to the post office and my one was taken by the driver even though I have a hold on my mail and left in my box. Then he hid the hold card.

Hoping that one of my neighbors saw it and took it for me and just forgot to say something.

Good luck man!

While it's fashionable to hate Samsung in some quarters, they're going to continue to do well. Not every launch is a blockbuster.

OnePlus is upsetting a lot of people with their controversial invite system. I've been waiting for months cash in hand and I still can't buy their phone. A very costly mistake on their part. Many people where I work also want one but refuse to play their games.

I think many people have probably forgotten about it now, the hype long over. No one else I knew had never even heard of it. And I'd only heard of it because of my interests in Chinese tech products and reading these forums. I couldn't be arsed to go through with the invite BS so bought an Oppo F7 instead, readily available for four months now and is very much the same telephone.

What's the status of your 1+1?

My order status went from "pending shipment" yesterday to "processing" today. I guess that means it might ship today:

Jerry @OnePlus said:
1. Pending Shipment: We are preparing the paperwork and product for shipment by the logistics company.
2. Processing: The logistics company is processing the shipment.
3. Complete: The tracking number is sent. The package is already on its way.

It seems like the typical order is processing, shipping, complete.

2-3 days from time of payment/ordering seems to be the norm.
With my order, as soon as the PAYPAL payment, via my bank, went from Pending to Complete is when a tracking number became available.

Then, you can click on the View Order, scroll down & get the tracking number.

Tracking status isn't updated on the site until it's actually delivered.
I suggest using the USPS Mobile App from the GOOGLE PLAY STORE, it gives real-time status updates. (Still have to check manually, for push notifications, see below) :

Also, you can go to the USPS desktop site & have updates sent via text or e-mail, once the USPS actually gets the "Electronic Shipping Information Received".

Hopefully mine will go faster since no bank was involved. I had adequate funds in my PayPal account thanks to the recent sale of my GT-I9500. My PayPal shows that the transaction was completed yesterday.

It is finally in my hands. A neighbor saw the package and took it for me. She left a post it note but it was never seen.

Anyway, it is in my hand now. I have unlocked the boot loader and rooted the device. So far I love the OPO. I have never had 4g before now. I usually have h+ while in Maryland so my speeds are really good as it is.

Got my phone but I couldnt get service. I went to a Metro Corp store and the MicroSIM was not picking anything up. I didnt want to buy it unless I could confirm it works. I will try it out over the weekend at a different store. Phone is on and hooked up to WiFi. I really like it so far.

Have you tried to manually select METRO PCS in the settings?

I did when I was there, it still didn't work. I'm going to try again when my sim comes in the mail.

OK.
Did you see MetroPCS LTE when you accessed Settings > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names ?

On my phone (with a T-MOBILE SIM Card) MetroPCS LTE is the 1st selection.

Also, just to rule out all possibilities, was the DATA ENABLED box checked at the top of the Mobile Network Settings page?

Yes to both. Then it said the SIM could not be registered on the Network. Tried T-mobile as well.

so you tried getting things set up at a store?

interesting,

i didn't have to go into any settings. i went onto metropcs.com and got things set up with an online rep. put the SIM card in my phone, gave the rep the IMEI # for the phone and the serial # for the card, turned the phone on and everything worked.
