Root Who needs a donor phone?

Im trying out the moto x on republic wireless. Its going to be the same price I pay now at $40 but supposedly they wont start getting mad at you until 5gigs. I have 30 days to try it.

Im going to see if I can sell my phone through craigslist. If not I would be willing to donate it to one of yall as a test phone as thanks for all the work the developers do. Of course mine has serious gps issues.

I don't really see where I can go wrong ive heard bad things about republic wireless especially with the wifi to cellular handoff but they have supposedly fixed all these issues.
 
If the craigslist thing doesnt work out within a month it would be great to have the donor phone. Thanks for trying to give back to the community:).
 
Or since i am getting it for my personal use. I guess i should buy the phone lol. Playfulgod might be interest though, not doubt about it when i say hes the guy you really wanna donate a phone to for development lol. ill point him here.
 
Ok sounds good Ill have to wait and see how to moto x is especially on republic. With their new 40 dollar plan it should be the same as what I have now with boost. Ive also heard about them having roaming agreements with Verizon also, but that's the thing there so small with no customer support that its hard to find out any facts about them.

The phone just came out so not really any info on development. Its obviously locked to republic and with a locked bootloader but does anyone know if the x is at least able to be rooted? It would be nice if you could root it with motochopper like the f7.
