Who would want a white Droid X?

Anyone other then me that would like a White DX? I know, apple did it with their iPhone, but the iPhone also sucks nuts, so it doesn't count really.

Just want to see if people would buy a special edition white one for a few extra schillings...?
 
no.......white/metal finish does not sound appealing......

maybe chrome.....with some spinners lol
 
Personally, I like the DX's metallic finish though I have a case on mine. Plus white electronics show dirt and fingerprints more.

I could see most of it White, with black accents.. IDK.. would need to really see it I guess. but the thought of one sounds sexy.

Could we get one with chrome of the top 1/3 and white on the bottom? Then it would be a real droid :)

Oh wait, I think they are already making a droid2 like that.
 
I wouldn't mind seeing what a white Droid X would look like but would probably never see it unless it was a photoshopped picture.
 
Not me, I think the black Droid X is the way to go. For some reason, if it was white, it would remind me of that fruity company ;) I don't even want to imagine that...lol
 
I don't, I'm OCD enough about keeping the screen clean, don't think I'd survive with a white phone!!
 
About a year ago my company bought me an iPhone 3G, which I was very excited to get, until I saw they ordered the white version. Really bummed me out. I think black is great, although I would love the brushed aluminum. White does show dirt and prints. I now have a Droid X!! (gave the iPhone to my wife - ha).

dirt yeah but not fingerprints. fingerprints are kinda whiteish so they would blend into the case better. go to a store and rub your finger all over the top of a white ds. pointless anyway if they give a white droid x the same plastic finish as the black one that only shows fingerprints on the screen
 
I'll work on a white one in CS5 here in a moment, but my work may be cut short as I have to be somewhere in a little bit.

I voted no. I think the iPhone barely manages to pull the white color off. To me, most mobile devices look incredibly cheap and tacky when they're lightly colored, (white, pink, lime green, whatever). I wouldn't be able to stand staring at the device while watching media or doing anything really. The color would constantly nag at my vision. White/Pink PSP, anyone?

I have my old LG Voyager Titanium and I wish I could have gotten the older black one. It makes it look all, "business-y," and boring IMHO. Unless Motorola can pull off a really nice color scheme, I wouldn't want any kind of silver or chrome finish. Perhaps it will look significantly better with this phone, but I'm still weary.

I would, however, be interested in seeing actual solidly colored versions of the phone. Blue, red, etc. I wouldn't necessarily want one, but I imagine they would look pretty sweet as long as button and label colors were changed correspondingly and the main color was bold, instead of some light version.
 
I would like to have the back with a gun metal gray finish. And the front to be red in all honesty. The white really wouldn't go too well with the type of finish the phone has. And then maybe have the phone's camera button a "pearl" white coating rather than red.
 
I would love a white Droid X, as long as it wasn't just the back. The front and the back both have to be white. I loved my white G1, man it would be nice to have this white, but it isn't a deal breaker and I still love me Droid X.
 
I had a white HTC Touch and actually liked the white casing. Overall build quality was shotty, but i liked the white casing.
 
I was actually thinking of trying out the white carbon fiber from phantom skinz. I could have it white for a while then take them off and go back to black whenever i wanted.

I work for FedEx and my hands get filthy every day. A white phone wouldn't last a week under those conditions. And I keep a black soft gel cover on the phone anyway, so no one would know I had a white phone.
 
White would be a nice option for women who don't want a masculin sleek black phone. Personally I think white cell phones look girly.
