Root Why are you still on this phone?

That Desire is for VM Canada.
It's kinda sad how the developers have left this phone, but I've used Mobster's roms basically since day 2, which have all been great. I suppose I'll be going for a Nexus 5 when that comes out.

Well maybe it's not too bad, giving me new ROMs is like giving a crack head some crack, I go crazy. (sarcasm of course)

Because it works perfectly fine and I don't see any reason to upgrade until I get LTE in my area.

The price for a new phone just doesn't seem worth what it would get me.

They are fastly getting LTE though & Upgrading so will also check the coverage maps, also very permission demanding app but open signal from play store, will tell you whos the fastest in your area based on people from all major carriers that have used or still have the app installed on there phone

Got this alert text from VM about a week ago,

& open signal for those who want to see there 3g/4g coverage maps & fastest provider's in their area

Even when I do finally upgrade unlike every other phone I've owned I won't sell it or pass it on to a relative, I'll keep it as a relatively inexpensive 3d camera and camcorder. :D
OB

Ive actually been looking at the LG Optimus F3 and boosts HTC one sv.. Both look pretty good, or decent for the prices..

The iPhone 5s 64 GB is only $750.00 on VM lol. what a bargain.

I do like the looks of the HTC phone, pretty slick but I have to say I bought the Galaxy S3 as a gift and would recommend it to anyone, I think it's the best phone on VM even though its one of the most expensive. 8 MP camera is nice and phone hopefully gets upgraded to JB 4.3 with the Sprint ones in early 2014 (not holding any breath for that).

Only $750? Ill go sell my car for that! Lol..
Id love to have the S3, but at $400, its out of my price range right now. If walmart still carried vm phones here id put it on layaway. The F3 looks promising tho, even with the display being .3" smaller than the 3d, (not being a huge deal) it has the lte and comparable to the 3d in speed. I loved the op v, for what it was, so no quarrels with lg yet. Only thing id really miss with the evo is all the great roms n devs.. So much to choose from.

.. and a nice little 3d movie player :D

The only complaint I have about this phone is its weight, and that is only minor. I plan to keep it as long as it works.

I am on this phone still because I still have hope for a sense 4 Rom with 3d camera and when that day comes I will be at peace with my EVO V. I can live out the rest of my cell phone days in glory with a clear themed sense 4 3d camera enabled phone aaaaaahhhh. The high life. B-)

I got like 3 hours of heavy use on battery on my Evo 3D. I have an F3 now. I get a MINIMUM of 12 hours battery life of heavy use all the time. The most I've gotten is 17 hours of constant use. The battery is crazy. Stock battery is 2400MaH. And the screen on the phone doesn't use NEAR as much power as the 3D's screen does. The radios in this phone actually use more but not even that much still. And I have brightness on 50% with 3G and WiFi on all the time of the day. this phones amazing, and oh.. It has never ever EVER rebooted on me randomly! I recommend the phone to EVERYONE. I've used an S3 before, it isn't as great as this phone is.

Yes actually I am a tester for that Rom we are trying to do the mms fix for it right now so it is fully functional. Having troubles getting the mms zip to work completely.

Obviously got the humor in your post but thought it might help put you at ease. Is it a flashable zip that's being tested for the mms fix? Would be a first if successful I believe. Always had to create a modified framework-apk and install it along with the ROM to get it to take.

Yep he is trying. I hope it is successful. We did a test that actually partially worked from another guide for another htc phone. So he is going to try to implement those apns in a flashable zip to try and make it fully functional.

Please tell me your getting one & developing for it mrg. I will really miss your kernel when I upgrade to this phone.

I wish I could. But we have recently upgraded my wife's VM phone to GS3. And I am not on VM anymore after replacing my EVO with N4.
