Root Why are you still on this phone?

Actually I have LTE with Straight Talk and you get 2.5G of high speed before they reduce you to 2G. Here is their quote:

*30 day Unlimited Plans include 2.5 GB of high speed data per 30 day cycle. After 2.5 GB, your data speed will be reduced for the remainder of the 30 day cycle

Good to know and I guess you can't really trust what they say on Facebook then because I've been with Virgin Mobile for years and their customer service has to be the best and I've heard a lot of crappy customer support for Sprint that's odd to me but you look on Facebook and you see a lot of complaints for virgin mobile from previous customers same with straight talk net10 hey can't really rely on Facebook for references for a prepaid provider there's going to be a lot un happy people complain so it's good to know that's straight talk has LTE cuz I didn't know that

We get unlimited 3G, and I don't know how much LTE. 2G is complete garbage, it's like using nocharge.com on a Windows 95 computer as a dial up connection.

You are probably correct about unlimited 3G. I thought I had read somewhere that the "reduction" was to 2G, but I cannot find that info now.

On the EVO because the options right now unless you want to pay $250+ are not great.

The phones $150 and less dont have great reviews.

Any new phone that's less than $150 is probably never going to be very great, that's why it's less than $150. Even the 3D wasn't that cheap when it came out. How much someone is willing to spend is always going to depend on what you want/need out of your phone and the funds that you have available to you to spend on tech gadgets like these.

There are plenty of great deals to be had on phones and I held onto my 3d for quite awhile until I became a phoneaholic and am now willing to spend much more than I was previously willing to, to have a phone that has all the things I want out of it.

Regardless, the 3D has been an epic phone for rooting/ROMs, not many phones have had this active of a community all over these forums.

I love my Evo also definitely a lot more roms but mobs right LTE for now is uncapped and I really was getting annoyed with the constant data usage text midway point

The Samsung Victory is on sale now until the 30th according to Radio shacks website regular price 250 too $79.99 Virgin Mobile was kind enough to give me 35 dollars in my account to upgrade my phone

My billing date is the third I've rarely used wifi this month just test how much data virgin mobile see's I've used and currently they're only counting 3G Data usage

Below pictures data seen & voice min used as well as sense aosp addon to replace touchwiz
There's about 3 roms available for it & it being the first LTE device Virgin Got is probably the only reason why their is 3 best ROM support is morely gonna be on the S3 but can't afford the S3 so any of you that know how to dev want to try Samsung Victory device I'll be happy to see you over there
Still getting antsy about flashing that the Evo 3d or Evo v 4G could always cure that most devices virgin mobile has can't compete to that the next Evo 3d with multiple flash for roms is definitely probably going to be the S3 every carrier has it so much to port from just expensive rich for my blood right now and I think that the HTC Desire as pretty as it is there will be virtually no development for because of the fact but I think it was specifically designed for virgin mobile but that's just the guess dont hold me to it

Funny how Radio Shack has the victory cheaper then Virgin Mobile's website until the 30th and some places price match like I said best buys done it for me
