Root Why does Oxygen ROM only leave me with 95mb internal memory? And How do flash Custom Partition Table

i dont think so no the signal is just low - and where can i get a eviollwet kernel??
 
i'm using a 3 Mobile Wi-Fi modem and its right next to me but i havent got full wi-fi.. sam goes for the router (BTHomeHub) in my house..

Yeah of course :D - I mean just pop in whenever you can :) I just need to get my Wi-Fi signal trength issue fixed :) Although i'm out tonight till 8:30ish so ill come back when iI can. Thanks alot for all your time and help :)

Other than kernel, not sure though.

I think mine isnt as strong either but its generally 3/4 full and dont have any problems.

It may be that we (well you) need to take this to teh GV thread on XDA

Hey, thanks.. was good :) I been playing around with the DHD ROM this morning with the new sense and i had a nightmare with that, but its ok now :) so what kernel can u recommend i use?
 
btw i still have GingerVillain set - i did a nandroid backup.. i just wanted to try out new sense for like 10 minutes :)
 
no a gingervillain kernel to make wifi as strong as it used to be :)

- I understand what a kernel is but what is a "Radio"? and what does it do? i have seen radios mentioned a lot?

Yes, the name was changed a few weeks ago.

It's in the rooting FAQ, but basically the "radio" is the firmware that controls the various radio interfaces in the phone (mobile network, WiFi, GPS). It is easy to update, but if something goes wrong it can brick the phone irrecoverably, so the general advice is only to update this if you have an actual problem - and not at all if you have a CDMA phone, since the radio .zips are invariably for GSM handsets and would brick a CDMA phone.
 
oh right then :) just a random hardware question here: is anyone's desire power button on the top slightly loose or rock solid? mine is slightly loose, is that normal?
 
i rwally need help ASAP.. I had gingervillain... i did a nandroid backup of that in clockworkmod recovery, then renames the backup in ROM Manager.. then i flashed oxygen ROM just to try something on it, i then wiped the SYSTEM and tried to restore the backup and its saying md5 mismatch.. what shall i do :( ?
 
that backup is gone then. What card have you got? Its either a dodgy backup, dodgy card or corrupt file / file system.

And why are you using rom manager? Just use recovery!

All you can do now is flash.
 
oh really, ill be keeping gingervillain.. why wud u go for insertcoin?
 
Its cut down so it fits almost entirely on nand (internal memory) and I put it on a mates phone
 
oh ok then - are the ones that partly install on the SD-EXT not good then?
 
Also i know what A2SD is of course but what what is D2EXT & D2WE? and are they worth having?
