Root Why is my wifi only working for some apps?!

I have an virgin mobile Ov, running IHO Backside. I love it and Sammyz has helped me with things in the past, (he's helping me with this too but I don't want the burden to be all his :D ) I am in the UK at the moment so no data plan, I am staying with my parents and using their wifi in the house. The first couple of days were no problem but then i found that I can't connect to facebook (the tragedy!) or myfitnesspal or google market/play. However, I get my yahoo emails just fine!

WHUCK?!!! any ideas anyone? I'd be ever so grateful if you could come up with the cause of this :)
 
Try installing the Harmonia ROM and see if it doesn't solve the problem. If it does then drop back to an earlier version (the 01312012 build is the best) of the BACKside as the current version has some bugs.

NOTE: As this is a Rooted Phone problem I'm going to ask a Moderator to move this thread to the All Things Root sub-forum where you will get the best advice.
 
never mind, Sammyz fixed it as usual! wiped everything and re installed rom, gapps and then restored with titanium backup :) you guys rock as always :D
