Why We Hate Change

I don't hate change, but I want all the details before I do anything.
Some of you might remember I had quite a few questions before I bought any phone.
Did the same with carrier. I don't believe anyone's marketing.

Our fanboys pan the Iphone, I go read the Iphone fora. Then make up my mind. In my case, Android was closer to Symbian.

As for Pepsi and Coke, I prefer King Stoopid's brand if I want a that type of beverage, usually I prefer coffee.

Made coffee for my coffee snob friend. She thought the coffee was really good and asked - it happened to be King Soopers Columbian. She was shocked!

I hate change for the sake of change, or change that removes functions or hides them instead of adding them, or change that makes everything look the same and fisher-price like (Play Store *cough* Windows 8 *choke* iOS 7 *gag*)

I agree with most of you.

I hate change weighing my pockets down and making noise. Fact: Ninja's don't carry change.

I hate change for the sake of change. But I'm all on board when the changes make sense.

A good book is Who Moved My Cheese, it's about change.

funny thing.. we all hate change.. because it is different.

we get used to the change.. and find out we love it.

just in time for them to.. change it again!

......

I find that sometimes change just isn't for the better and I can't be bothered. Other times, I just like the things they are as I'm familiar with them. Any change introduces effort on my part to now learn how to do things differently. If I'm not getting any value for the effort I need to put in, I get pissed.

at work it seems that soon as i remember where every tool, nut, bolt, etc is located the boss goes and relocates it much like Wal-Mart changes their product arrangement. i never shop Wal-Mart because of that and at work i am always dressed-down because i never know where the parts got moved to.

I read it as well...Great Book!

My late grandfather was born in 1900, and could vaguely remember the excitement when news of Orville and Wilbur Wright's achievement at Kittyhawk reached the streets of Glasgow. Fast-forward 66 years, and that same man watched Neil Armstrong take "one small step".

That's "change" for ya. :)

i'm glad some change exists. i mean, carburetors weren't all that bad , right? DOS wasn't that bad right?

Nothing wrong with carburettors. Easy to service and maintain if you only got basic tools available. Which is more than can be said for electronic fuel injection, that requires expensive specialist garage servicing. Depending on where you are in the world might not be available.

Nothing wrong with steam locomotives right? :D
