Root Wifi tethering- revolutionary root

Hey everyone, my phone is rooted and the tethering will show up, however, devices do recognize the connection but they won't connect and try to Obtain an ip address and that's it. It never does find one though, any ideas?

Can you give us a little more information. What rom are you on? Tether app?


Since I don't use this option very often, the rom I use where the tether option works as it should is NRG's Energy rom
 
FYI, there has been a big ol kabash put on sharing info tethering in the forum here. I know that there have been MANY posts about tethering in the past, however info sharing on this topic has halted. Sorry to bear the bad news broski :(
