Will the Nexus Prime be on Sprint

Here's my reasoning, however flimsy it might be:
* Why would non-VZW carriers release the SGS2 in September, if the Prime was coming in October. No point.
* Why would VZW decline to carry the SGS2 in September, if they weren't getting something in return.

Here's a counter...

Why would the other 3 networks choose the SGSII over the Nexus Prime? Especially Sprint knowing they were getting the iPhone this month? I would think if it were only a choice between the galaxy S and the prime, they would have foregone the galaxy.

It's more likely that Sprint would be getting the Nexus Prime late winter/early spring
 
When the Prime has their presentation this Tuesday will they be saying when it will be coming out and if it only comes out on Verizon at this time will they say the dates it would come out on Sprint?
 
I would be shocked if it hits anything but vzw for remainder of the year. all the other providers got sgs2 versions for an reason i believe
 
I think they will release the Prime on Sprint once the LTE rollout begins. So mid-2012. There may be more powerful phones out by then, but will there be more powerful Nexus phones? That I doubt.
 
Yeah that would be more like half a year. By then this phone will be forgotten. Unless you really want the vanilla experience.
 
Sprint is in no rush to get this to market at the moment. With them getting the iphone 4s and people lining up to grab it, they'll drag they're feet and wait till they're LTE rollout is ready for something like the Prime.

SGS2 and Nexus are two completely different phones and have nothing to do with each other. Sprint would be making a huge mistake not getting a new Nexus...

The Iphone 4s is only being sold to ISheep! What about the regular person that is smart enough to know that andriod phones have allready had all those features???
 
I can't believe Sprint is making the HUGE mistake by not getting the prime. I mean, Sprint is the ONLY carrier not getting it!!! That is a HUUUUUUGE fail!
 
Price you pay for going with WIMAX then not sticking to it and needing to change your towers to do LTE?

Are you serious? You can't be. The S2 has been proven to be one of the best Android phones on the market specs wise and with millions of units sold. How well have the Nexus phones done? They have always been underpowered and behind on specs. The first one sold so poorly its not even made anymore and the Nexus S 4G was a disaster, at least on Sprint with tons of returns for crap wifi/signal issues and who even owns one on T Mobile? I think it was an easy choice for ANY carrier to want the S2 right now as its easily one of the hottest phones. The Prime has ALOT of work ahead of it to prove itself even if its running ICS first.

Please let this be true!!! I have already started shopping Verizon and T- Mobile for service. I am very close to switching. After taking away perks and now removing unlimited hotspot Sprint is 1 step away from going from number 3 to number 5!! Anytime you ask them a question they say that crap about customer said they wanted best devices so to stay competitive and bring us the best they had to cut somewhere. BS!!! All that brought us was the Iphone and I don't want that at all!! So what about the customers that have stuck with you without the IPhone? We dont matter? You sold your soul to the devil and if IPhone customers is what you wanted maybe that is all you will have at the end of this!!! Not to mention he network running so slow since all those IPhone activations. I know it is only a matter of time beforeyou remove unlimted service all together, and when you do get ready for mass exodus!!! Come on my Sprint Brothers and Sisters don't let them bully us and turn into ATT we are with Sprint because they are not ATT!!!!

If they stick it to us again we all switch!!!!
 
I hope this is true. I'm on the fence as far a staying with Sprint. I have been with them over a decade, but I'm not loyal to anyone if they don't do things that would benefit me. I really need a new phone now and can only keep my EVO 4G for only so long. My phone keeps shutting off and it irks me. I want the Prime to come to Sprint by November. I just want to know if it's a no or yes if it's coming to Sprint so I can make my decision.
 
I don't see Sprint releasing any superphones for the remainder the of year. I'm focusing on 2012 anyway.
 
I'm with Orion, gonna wait till next year. I also would like to see HTC come out with an ice cream sandwich phone with no buttons.
