Help Will the unlocked HTC Desire HD work in India?

Honestly speaking, dont think HTC will reduce the price within 10 days, even if they plan to do it eventually. DHD has been launched in Europe/Middle East/Aus etc..however, till now there are no reports of a price reduction from anywhere. So really dont think they wud launch it at 35k n reduce the price to 30k within 10 days. Perhaps couple of months and they might....

I just checked the Expansys site and they only have 8 DHD's left in stock, how about other sites like handtec are they as good as expansys?

there are a lot of articles all over stating d launch news for this week.. dats good news..

i have heard handtec is reliable.. but no1 i know has got nethn from der...
expansys i can speak thru personal experience.. its good..

1 problem i faced is similar to most UK users as well.. hope the locations pointed out my location more accurately.. sometimes it jus can;t locate me.. at other tyms it is accurate to about 500 to 1000 metres.. just feel it cd hv been more accurate...

Apart from fonearena and Igyaan, I haven't heard of anyother website independently saying about the launch of DHD in India. (All other websites are quoting either fonearena or Igyaan). :(

If you have seen such a source, please let us know. Still I have this bad feeling that HTC India will not launch it on 10th Dec. :( (God, my pessimistic nature is so pathetic )

PS - Can imagine only that how much you are enjoying with DHD.

Igyann told 6th the availibility date
But no sign yet

Igyan news authentic ????

Igyaan (who knows ) Igyaan & fonearena both claim the launches to be on 10th Dec. I explored who are the people behind IGyaan and didn't find anything impressive. People are believing on IGyaan as they said they have got the "secret" from HTC India staff.

HTC India - DHD not up on the HTC India website.

PS - If it doesn't gets launched by 2nd week of December. By 14th Dec. I will order the phone either from UK or will get it from Singapore. Enough is enough (for me only gain is Warranty if I get it in India).

I don't think its too much to ask for a DHD with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) when it gets launched on 10th Dec in India. :D

So no news of launch in india, that's a shame

Was it just for publicity igyaan, fonearena

sadly, its google branded like nexus 1 and in the same way it may never release in india but it is rumored to release in russia with an lcd screen instead of samoled in feb, its not going to release anywhere in asia anytime soon(google it)
