Willing to make wallpapers

Been looking through to find Mercedes Benz emblems. I actually have the lock-screen pattern, though I don't recall where exactly I got it! What I would REALLY like to find is a Benz emblem, on a wet, black background..maybe raindrops on metal?? The emblem itself, though would be chrome, but kind of blue, ya know? Like some of the black/blue/chromed images used for lots of android stuff. If ever I were to find something like that.....I would sing praises to the artist!

First off, thanks for the kind words.

Now to business. Great description of what you'd like. Makes things easier on me. This one sounds like it shouldn't be a too difficult to put together (of course whenever I say that, it's usually VERY wrong... :p). I've got one ahead of you to get done - then yours is up. Should be tonight or tomorrow.

I just saw that snapdragon is releasing their game command center app for support of Android devices with with their chipsets.
So this eye graphic surfaced. Lucky me, Droid incredible 2 runs snapdragon 1ghz processor.
Who better than the chip maker to know what graphics and type of games it can handle.

I guess I would want it to look more like this...

With the eye kind of centered in the mechanical stuff around it.
Again for Dinc2 same res. scrollable, I use the hTC sense flip clock, but might take it of and all other main homescreen icons to enjoy this wallpaper for a while.

Maybe the resolution might need to be bigger to give room to crop and play with, ya know how hTC's are when you have widgets on main screen...

Ok G.adams, I'll see what I can do. And again, good description of what you want here. As of this post, I've got 2 ahead of yours, so I probably wont get to this until tomorrow or the next day.

Well, I just couldn't keep my grubby mitts off this one... :D:p;)

I thought maybe this logo would look a bit better. It's all cut out and ready to go. Give it a shot and see if I'm right.

I love it!! I couldn't figure out how to get that effect. We make a good team EB! Grabbing and placing. Will post in a few.

Nice! Thanks again. If you didn't, you should PM the OP to let him/her that an alternate version is available to try out.

As for the effect - In Sumo (you're still using that, right?) I added a mid-tone blue outer glow, size 15 both X & Y, strength 10. Then changed the color temperature all the way cold (blue), and finally reduced the color saturation a little to maintain the chrome look.

Wow, appreciate the effort. It looks good.
The resolution is a little small for me.
The 1080x960 similar the the Droid razr resolution would work best for me on this one.
That would give me just the right amount of"play" room when cropping.
Also, if there is a way to keep the existing background of the eye, the gray looking circuit board thing it gas going on, and just copy it and like paste it to make it bigger.
I guess you would call that estrappulating it, I think, lol. ;)

The problem with the existing background is that its so tiny it looks terrible when blown up to those proportions. I'll see if I can find something similar.
As for size, my apologies, I thought you said you were running the Incredible 2 so I found the resolution for that. (Or thought I did)

Yup, you'll need to find a similar circuit board background to use. As for the size, the rule of thumb for most Android wallpapers (don't get me started on newer HTC Sense phones... :mad:;)) is that is should be the same height as the screen resolution, and twice the width. Thus for the DInc 2 with a screen size of 480x800, the wallpaper should ideally be 960x800. And remember that only the center 480 will be visible on the home, center screen so it's probably best to make the eye no bigger than that. As a bonus for that, it should look a little better. Yay! I did build it to the right size. I'll make sure to try to find the center screen sizes as well in the future. :)

Ok - so after hunting everywhere I couldn't find one that looked exactly or even overly close to what is on that image - BUT - I was able to do this. I hope it's closer to what you had hoped for.

Maybe you can use this as the circuit board pattern... one of my favorites... ;)

you do realize "anime" is a genre not a singular. it covers literally THOUSANDS of works.

ie "WHAT" anime do you want a wallpaper of ?
