I am a day or so away from Flashing my first ROM.
As awesome as CM7 looks I think Ill wait til it gets the bugs out. Too bad I was eyeing up that Skulls Theme.
It seems Apex is very popular so I think Ill start there.
I did a Nandroid back up after flashing GB, Synched with AppBrain ,and getting ready to wipe Data and Cache in DX bootstrap and I guess Im ready to go.
This is the sound of me crossing my fingers......

Screw it!! Im going for it tonight! Just did data wipe and downloaded Apex.
as soon as Apps get done loading Im gonna do it.
Quick question though... after Data wipe can I bypass Google log in and just re-install apps thru TiBackup? I assume thats why I bought it but not sure.
I have All my Apps synched with Appbrain, Google and now TiBU.
Also do I neeed to Data wipe again after flashing Apex. (It didnt specify that in the instructions)

All went well. It Killed my battery in no time! I'm talking from 90% to 40% in two hours. Guess Ill let it settle in a day or two.
You wanna talk about Fast?!!! Almost can't wait to try another already. Tempted to just go for CM7. It seems a little more involved in the install. Kinda need my camera and GPS also. Thanks to everyone who helped me get started.

Glad you made it on board! Apex is pretty sweet, rock it for awhile. CM7 will be all fixed up soon I'm sure.

Only problem I see is no Gmail and some of my contacts are missing. No Verizon BackupAssistant either
