Help Working flashlight APP (camera LED) in progress!!

I think he said somethin about personal or health issues taking up his time for tthe moment it might be a while yet before an update
 
I have had no personal time lately. Every time I get free time someone I know asks for help. No time to relax, no time to code, nothing :(

Take this weekend for instance would have been a good time to spend coding. Instead I have to go look at this car that my friends want to see if it is viable to fix. It will take most of my saturday or sunday up. Maybe I can get some coding in sometime this weekend.
 
Everyone can use the temporary name: openbeta
to use the app.


** Remember use this app at your own risk. I do not know the long term effects of this program. **


** If for some reason the flash gets stuck 'ON', the phone may need to be reset or the button in this app may need to be cycled off/on, or another app like the camera may need to be used with the flash. **


I would appreciate a reply that the username, openbeta, is working and also would appreciate some feedback through replies here (or PMs) about YOUR take on the app.

Same here, got bumped offline .Site went down for me as well.
 
I've only had it stay on one time. The glitch I found was when you press on it won't turn on until you hit off. Then do the cycle again and it will work. Other than that its good.
 
Hey im a root user my zte warpp i love to the fullest just didnt have everything i need i found your postings downloaded the beta and i had issues with it when i turn on the on button the flash light come on but goes straight back off like i took a pic or some then. I thought this can help u help me. im running original rom.

Did you try to press the on button again? It has a known bug where sometimes the initial "ON" does't make the light come on and the off makes it just flash. Try to turn it back on when it does that.
 
Couple issues already. Remember I am rooted.

Installed after clearing old one. Got authorization and light immediately turned on while button said off.

Secondly I turned on blink for calls check box and backed out of the app. Gave me a forced close. Both times I tried this.

Thirdly after hitting the check box and hitting home it continues flashing even without a notification.

I am not concerned with the check box, I know it's buggy. It was put in mostly for ME to test but if it's done slowly it won't bug out. By slowly I mean check it, wait.... uncheck and wait when done.

Now as for the problem I quoted, if you read the update I mentioned that I have the light blink when authorize or during no internet uses (at least I thought I said that...) . Is it coming on and staying ON or just blinking?
 
Im stickin with the first version for now as im a root user and this is t made for root yet so the first version is probably gunna be more stable

Did have slight problem with the blink function. Maybe I wasn't using it correctly. Kept stalling program and had to reboot phone.

Ya it's a work in progress, not surprised. Gonna possibly put some time in this weekend to make everything a little nicer.
