CHANGED FROM AF ADDICT MIKESTONY
Rezound is nice, my Neighbor at work has one. Of course he gets fairly solid 4G where I get poor 3G. But since I just use twitter, tapatalk, and email while at work, slow data doesn't affect me too much.

agreed on the rezound. I had it for three weeks and i think it is a great device.
it's sad that us VZW G Nex owners haven't really had one single Official update since the device was launched, i don't count the launch day update. Yet Moto and the Rez are really close to dropping ICS on their devices....sad sad sad...smh
I like the Nexus but I would like a Razr Maxx more so...

We don't need update for freaking Verizon. We are rooted, so we get pics 4.0.4 way before Verizon update their customers.
you can flash all the 4.0.4 roms you want but your not going to get any of the firmware updates that would be in an Official update.
Android is open source. Whatever is released offically will be made available to the developers. Most likely it will be well before it's pushed to the general public.
I believe Trophy is talking about the specific CDMA stuff from Verizon. Which isn't really available unless it is leaked to us.
At this point in the game? No way. If I would have known google was basically going to do a bait and switch (yes, I know it's not quite that, but still) with developer support I would have never gotten it in the first place.
Google really needs to tighten the reins on the way things are going for updates, et.. al... Jellybean is already being talked about (not sure of release date yet) and less than 5% units have ICS.
If I absolutely had to have a phone at this moment and was on verizon, I'd get a MAXX. If I could wait a few months then I would see when the GSIII, et al.. are coming out.
I personally will never purchase another google nexus. They (google) along with verizon have ruined the experience for me.
Just to be fair, I wouldn't blame Google. Verizon is the reason the updates are taking longer and it was bound to happen. They hold the leash on their network pretty tight.
I wish I had a Rezound, it's waaaaaaaaaaay better than the Galaxy Nexus. Simultaneous 3G and voice, better reception, non pentile display/higher pixels per inch, better rear camera(it's actually the best camera on any Android phone in the world assuming the One X hasn't eclipsed it), better front camera, and it is getting ICS.
Well today I learned that the Rezound has SVDO. Did not know that.
Yeah all HTCs on VZW with 4G have had it.. OK, both of them.
Not for me. I thought I was going to put it through a wall tonight because of the random reboot issue not to mention much lower than average reception from the radios. I wish I'd have waited it out for something else with my Dinc - that phone rocked the house for what it was.
HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Biggest piece of crap I have ever owned. .

I had my Nexus reboot once in nearly 4 months, and that was one I had to exchange due to bad hardware (unrelated to that reboot). If your phone is rebooting that often, there is either a hardware problem with it or you have some app causing the crashes. That's not normal for a nexus without hardware problems and with well-behaving apps.
