ok, went to install a themed LauncherPro apk just now and uninstalled my old LPP not realizing i had used titanium backup to freeze the other launchers installed on the phone...

now i can't get to any of my apps to switch anything out lol...

so basically i figure ill just flash ApeX again...but how do i get into clockwork without being able to get to the app itself?

turn the phone off, plug it into a wall outlet, then turn it on. clockwork should boot up if its plugged into a wall charger

not working either...i get to the ApeX boot animation...i hear the "THX" sound then it just sits there with the flashing glow...i get the "vibrate" saying its going to boot...but just sits there flashing...

Keep doing battery pulls till u boot into clockwork. Just after the moto M pull the battery. After two of these it should boot into clockwork. Koush added this function into clockwork recovery in case you keep bootlooping so clockwiek would boot for u.

its not booting into clockwork when its plugged into a wall charger? thats wierd, ive NEVER had it NOT do it. USB cable doesnt work but a wall charger does. I actually just had to do it to mine, like literally right this second

I have been able to get to CWM by holding down power and home button at the same time when you first start the phone. Give it a try.

nope, still no go

Go into stock recovery and wipe your data partition ..
Power off
power on by holding power and home at same time till you see a triangle and exclamation
press hard search key
Scroll to data wipe /factory reset
Wipe
Reboot

When you get to the Android Dude press the Search button and it will either go to CWM or stock recovery. If you get CWM then go forward. If you get to stock then do a data wipe and factory reset.

just did that and i thought i was REALLY screwed because i got my boot logo...then NO boot animation, just a "lit" black screen...after letting it sit for almost a minute ApeX booted...wow...

Last resort, from the bootloader screen, you can flash an sbf. But it sounds like you are ok now.

Because without a launcher he could not access his app drawer for the market or create a shortcut

exactly...i wish i could have seen my own face when i slowly realized what i had done

After uninstalling LPP everything seemed like it was functioning fine...i hit the home key...nothing happened...i thought that was odd, but the "back" key let me go back through the settings pages, so i just figured, eh, weird glitch, home key not working...got to the end of the menus and the phone just sat there...

so now im thinking..."hmm...whats going on?" then the phone goes to just a black screen, but its "lit" so i know its not locked or anything...i can long press the home key and get the vibrate to let me know that the recent apps menu was open but i can't see anything...

then all of a sudden it hit me..."oh crap! i have no launcher!":p

Lol your not alone I have pulled more than my fair share of doosies lol

as have i, adw is a pain when it disappears because you hold a part of it and move slightly and it hides! and the only way to get it back is to try alot of different stuff :(

I made the exact same mistake a while back too...I had to reboot and do battery pulls about 15 times before I luckily booted into clockwork.

yeah i finally got it to boot into the "stock" recovery and was able to to a factory reset from there...

I had a similar issue when I removed all launchers except Go launcher...then did a factory reset. Until the market automatically downloaded the launcher again I had a nice black screen.

Someone above mentioned pushing a launcher from the market. I'm not sure why going to https://market.android.com/ wouldn't have worked?
