I bought the Bionic because on paper, it had everything that I wanted.
I bought it last week KNOWING that samsung and motorola was going to bring out something better but I didn't care.
I loved this phone, it was almost a perfect phone. I said almost because the camera sucked really bad but I was going to just put up with it. I did experience the dropped 3g/4g connections but that wasn't that big of a deal.
The reason that I am returning the phone is because my phone is a brick now. The phone locked up on me earlier today and now it won't boot right. It get locks up on the LTE screen. I pulled out the battery and tried to reset it many times but still the same problem.
After doing some research on it, this seems to be a known problem and I don't want to take a chance with it hopping Motorola will fix it on the next update. I did this with my last phone, the samsung captivate. The phone randomly resets, gps never work, yahoo mail don't work and other minor issues. Samsung promised to fix these issues but never did.
It is sad because I really liked this phone. I am just going to go back to ATT since I still have my unlimited data plan from them. Going to just wait for the Samsung Nexus next month.
I know most of you won't care but it helps to vent.

If you really like the feel for the Motorola UI and what not....just grab the Razr...

(pun intended) but I don't think that is exclusive to the Bionic. I understand that several other phones drop data service when these outages occur.
