Root You know whats differnt about the OS and OV?

People say that the OS and OV are differnt. Well I have an old OV laying around that dosn't work so I took it apart and on the Main board, it says LS670_MAIN_SPFY0239101_1.2_4M-1(4)1 1 21. I have a picture, but its really blurry.

The only difference is programming in the phone and the home and menu key is switched....the optimus m and c are also exactly the same...difference is programming .....m is for metro the c is for cricket, s is for sprint, v is for virgin......the m is ms690 the c is lw690 the s is ls670 the v is vm670

You can boot an OS rom without problems, just like I can boot an OC rom without problems, same vice-versa

But I cannot boot an OV rom without problems
VM670 and MS690 the numbers don't match so porting must be done....
