Hiding behind a mystery
Hi there people :D

I would like to know what genre you like to read :) If I miss something, tell me and I'll add it to the poll. You can have multiple selections :) IF you have more than one, don't forget to post us what they are and in what order :D

Here are mine:
1)Fantasy
2)Suspense
3)Sci Fi
4)Manga

Cheers,
-Roze-

I love readin although havent been doing as much as I would like to

my favorite genres are

sci-fi
high fantasy
manga
PC or car magazines

1) Fantasy
2) Suspense
3) Manga/Manwha

Other things I find interesting is health related articles, game articles and technology illustrations. Can be everything from graphic design to phone related illustrations.

mysteries but I would like to pick others

historical fiction
Sci fi (tied)
thrillers (no I didn't think Davinci code was a thriller really)

Meanwhile what is manga/manhwa? never heard of that, not that it means anything

What kind of thrillers do you read? I like law/business thrillers. My favourites are by Grisham. Then where would you put Davinci code? I think Angels and Demons can go under thrillers, no? lol

Manga is Japanese comics/animation
Manhwa is Korean comics/animation

Yes I think angles and demons would warrant thriller. but I think I just didn't like davinci code.

Oh and thanks.

I also like Grisham, Otherwise I really read a lot of different things.

I see that science fiction are leading. Personally, science fiction doesn't appeal to me at all, however I can understand why it's a popular genre with the majority of readers. My genres are: all types of non-fiction (bibliography, historical and documentary) and the only fictions I like are mysteries. I don't travel so reading books gives me an opportunity to encounter new cultures and places without actually visiting them.

Completely agree with Vehtemas. Drizzt is a certified badass, no doubt. As is R. A. Salvatore, even if he is responsible for the death of Chewbacca :_(

If you haven't read The Night Angel Trilogy then I highly recommend it. Its a series about a special type of assassins called "wetboys." Lots of action, lots of twists and just an amazing read.

The author is Brent Weeks, he is currently working on another trilogy that I haven't started reading yet....I'm not big on waiting for the next book in a series to come out, I tend to just wait for them to finish the series >.<

NightAngel trilogy? Never heard of it:p

<----- :D

And it wasn't RA's fault. He was told to kill him(lucas, del rey, and whatever the main publisher lady's name is)... He got death threats after that though. There is a great interview with him and the publishers at the end of one of the New Order books

Haha, nice to see another fan of the series :D

And I believe I read that interview, I was aware he was told to do it but I'm sure that didn't take away any of the hate mail he probably got from thousands of Star Wars fans :P

Yea, it was bad for him. AND it stunk even worse cause it wasnt his fault:)

And yea, LOVE that series. It was my favorite ever till i read Sword of Truth.. you familiar with it?

I have read the backside of those books multiple times at the local B&N but I haven't picked one up. I just discovered Drizzt a few months back and I'm finishing up all the spin off series right now i.e. Clerical Quintet, Sellswords...I will probably be grabbing the first few books of Sword of Truth next time I'm over there.

i love Romance
