Your thoughts on the 2.1v3 leak?

Not able to use Swype. Can anyone provide a valid file? All the rest say my screen is incompatible or I'm using an older version.

If you are having an echo problem, turn down your in-call volume. I believe the maximum in-call volume for the leaks is higher than that of 1.5. It's loud enough that it can be heard in the microphone, resulting in an echo.
 
odd issue. only thing ive seen in 2.1.3 is that the pandora widget will sometimes just stop. the music stops and the controls dont work. i have to go in to the app and close it and restart it.
never happened on any of the others.

I've had that happen on every OS with the Pandora and Slacker widgets. I just quit using the widgets and let the app run in the background with zero trouble.
 
Another GREAT thing about this update is I no longer have the problem of phantom contacts being added and linked to my contacts! This always happened whenever I finished making a call using Google Voice...it would keep adding my bridging number as a new contact and linking it to whoever I just called. Then I had to go through and unlink and delete all the new entries.

For now, I'm sticking with Sense because everything's running so smoothly... but if/when I bored, I'll try out Helix or stock Home again. :D
 
I have 28% standby time.. I comitted the ultimate of sins last night while installing the leak3, I downloaded it straight from my phone and used astro to install it.. really stupid i know but i was desperate and my eris would go awol and not connect to my computer!! so i decided to do it straight fron the phone and it worked pretty well for me..I love gmail pics embedded now, love how clean it feels..
havent really checked alot of it out though
anyone notice it says PING TOOLS in mangage Applications?

Press the + sign -> HTC Widget -> Get more HTC widgets -> Battery

I'm not a fan of these battery widgets, though. They always seem to drain mine faster. What I do instead is I got "Anycut" and made a shortcut to "Battery info" and that opens a page that shows me the percentage remaining.

how is that the ultimate of sins? or stupid? thats what a lot of people did.
personally, i downloaded th file on my laptop and bluetoothed it to my phone.
and ya. mine has ping tools also

Ive flashed jcases v3 rom based off this update. seems pretty smooth to me, i can use swype lite on it. and the market seems to be fixed!!! yay!! I think thats jcase implementing that special market fix code of his in there. However, i had to rollback to my previous rom via nandroid because when i try to use my root apps, it force closes when it goes into su request. as for now, helix on my senseable 2 rom w/ live wallpapers and open gl fix isclose to being a masterpiece so far. Im waiting for all upgrades that the devs can cook up from this. life with eris is getting better and better as the days go by.
 
I'm pretty happy with the leak so far, I still have dialer lag and for some reason my audio volume seems to go from high to low randomly while listening to music. Besides that though, I'm good :)
 
So far it's working like a dream. It seems a bit faster and more responsive. Signal strength has improved and wi-fi over my Belkin g plus finally works without kicking me off after 2 minutes. Battery is good, calendar is snappier and ALL of my shortcuts and widgets work like a charm. Just hate that I can't seem to set Youtube to play all videos in high quality by default. It worked on 1.5,... when it decided to work that is. Had to roll back a few widgets to get them to to work properly after the install, but nothing to cry about. So far I'm really liking it.
