Yes and No... it is a 4 position 'compass' vs. a complete accelerometer... it digitially repsonds for 0,90,180,270, but nothing in between thus of no use for games... but works fine for tablet orientation....

First thanks for always taking the time to respond. I am having a heck of a time with this, even more so thatn the initial update. I can't even get my computer to recognize the tablet. Is there a way to put the file on the sd card and update it from there?
 
Ive just bought the CE version which is a pile of Crap..Is it possible to delete Windows and install Android instead? How about putting XP or 7 on it?? I have to keep pressing the reset button every time before the damm thing will boot!

Yes, you can flash the latest 1014 Android 2.1 (w/Market) right over the CE version and really not loose anything as without tweaks CE doesn't even save settings on the tablet... Plenty of help for this specific tablet over on section devoted to it on Slatedroid

Heya Guys N Gals, I'm hoping to join the Android Army real soon as I'm bored of Windows, Symbian and well Apple I just don't want to go there.

I've been having a read up the past few weeks as I want to know I'm spending my money wisely and I really fancy the ZT-180 - BUT I'm really confused over the cpu scam's that I've been reading and was wondering if any one could give me there thoughts on the following ZT180 that I've found in the UK

Zenithink Zt-180 10 inch Tablet PC Touch Screen Android 2.1 256mb APAD With Mark

Is this one I should stay clear of?? I'm after a 10" that will/may evenually work with my usb vodafone 3g, LogMeIn Ignition and general surfing and watching movies (tho I'm not fussed about high quality playback as long as its watchable)

Well that seems the standard ZT-180 tablet many of us have... but the price seems high to me as equates to $405USD... I can buy the ZT-180 shipped from China to US including shipping for ~$175USD... For <$400 I can order a Tegra 2 tablet that should blow the socks off my 2 ZT-180s... But I don't know what Import taxes etc. add to purchasing in UK...

i was talking to a MFG a few weeks ago and when i pressed for how many i could order now and when delivery would be, he quuit talking

Wasn't Flat Computing expecting their shipment of Tegra 2's shortly?
 
Earlier this week a chat from flat computing said they are still planning to ship by the end of next week. Too bad it doesn't have a front camera. We'll have to see if they ship on time.

I have the Zenithink ZT-180 with the Wince 6 OS and was trying to flash the android 2.1 OS since this will support both OS I was told. Can't get it to work the Youtube video from Zenithink ZT180.us says that if I don't have a 32 bit file system it will not work. My two laptops and desktop have the NTFS file system anyone know if that is the problem for sure.

I think you may have misunderstood (sometimes their translator isnt working 100%) do you know what version of the firmware youre using?

I'm using 1013 and it works GREAT although I know that somefolks HAVE said that they had to change browsers

I have 4 loaded on my device but almost always defaut bak to the main android one, although opera is gowring on me again

Hi i tried to download lates version from www.zenithink.com. It asks for registration and the dbank asks for registration and is in Chinease... My IE does not detect it as chinease so.. no translation... Any help or any other link to get it

I don't have any android firmware on it I have wince os I am trying download 2.1.
