ZTE WARP Watering hole

The warp has the best specs of any phone I've ever owned... I like heavy, fps shooter games, fast Internet and hate a laggy device. Would you say that there is a huge difference in performance with a better phone like the s2? I ask because I've never had a high end phone. Only the warp, and prevail.

Seeing as i own a 1.5Ghz dual core yes youll notice a HUGE difference in performance with the warp (before swap) playing any game aas rough and a unpleasent expierence but having dual core (s2 is 1.2Ghz) give you a lot.more to run from increased speeds and virtually no lag i even overclock my spec to 1.8GHz while playing games just to get them extra smooth

Well then I guess I will definitely be getting the s2.. Yeah I was checking out dead trigger earlier. Which version do you have? Also I tried dead space after you brought it up a while ago. It actually runs really good on the warp I was surprised.

I have version 1.5.1 and yeah dead space did play amazingly well for an advanced game i need to find someone who doesnt have swap to play dead trigger and see how it plays

Alright so I tried dead trigger with and without.. Runs really crappy without swap. It's runs awesome when using swap and setting your cpu to performance :D

Odd how? What movie?

Not sure... odd good and odd bad.

Killer Joe.

kelmar what movie? The human centipede?

Human centipede was lame IMO. Just another "shock" movie trying to one-up Saw, Final Destination, etc... No desire to watch the first one... less of a desire to watch the second one.

the last movie i watched was the avengers-and i must say it was damn good!

Gah... I hated Avengers. I think I'm just getting old. Movies that SHOULD entertain me just don't do much for me anymore.

Sound of My Voice = Awesome
Savages = Very Good
ummm... not much else this year has done much for me...

Never heard of killer Joe. Do you read? Try Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz. Awesome book!

Adding it to the list of books to read. :)

Yeah, it's a low budget, NC-17 flick...

How do you adjust your CPU?

The on demand setting is good for normal use. But when you are about to play an advanced game I set it to performance which sets the cpu at a constant 1000. Which really helps in gaming. I also keep my SD at the 2000 option, which speeds up read and write speed to sd. Since all your game data and maps are actually saved to sd its pretty much common sense that will help..

Hope this helps
