Root ZTE Zmax Pro Official Root Discussion

Just got my 5th zte pro , I'm getting closer, lol but I'm not expert on the adb commands , but learning , also my attempt in the pass , also for full adb commands I learned that with the phone off and holding the volume up while connecting to my laptop has all fastboot commands down to a t which why I'm on my 5th lol but also holding the volume down and up connecting to the laptop is seen by adb but limited, going to see what the volume down does , and try the fastboot oem unlock bootloader , and a few Samsung unlock bootloader codes, I highly doubt this zte has htc procedure, just a command to unlock… wish me luck
 
Hate to be that guy that's too lazy to read but did anyone find a working root for the Z981

Does that mean we do have fastboot?
 
ok guys
bear with me Im screwing around with zmax pro

when I connect zmax pro with being connected zte adb headset adb interface. At lock screen before you bring up secrect code to unlock if touch and hold the lit keys surrounding the home key and let the screen turn off release keys the home key lights up and stays lit with while the screen is off. The home key stays lit constant.

Now if I do this but this time your not connected adb the home key pulses on and off.

I dont know what it means?????

I tried adb devices says connected I tried adb devices reboot it reboots I tried adb reboot-bootloader it just reboots not into bootloadeer

I said I thought the blinking one was download mode but someone said it was steady lit for download mode so I thought I was confused.. but thanks for confirming we were all right on that topic.. can someone clarify the difference? Maybe they both download mode but one bypass security checks or maybe one has hidden fastboot access.. has anyone checked for the old school hidden menu to see if we can enable fastboot from there? The only dialer code I know to work is engineer mode..

ok putting the device on safe mode then running adb shell aloud me to runs some commands but when i run th flashing unlock_bootloader it stays on bootloop i try running command while in bootloop and i can get into reboot edl or reboot bootloader n devices gets back to normal... does with comds knowledge need directions
 
I have Ben fallowing the blog since the original and I have a divise I've Ben using for development.. so far I'm in the same page that everyone .. I can use ADB to reboot and other things .. but no bootloader.. i can access side load can't do anything ive poor the twrp inside the update b12 and SD updated but nothing since I'm new to the forum I wanted to be helpful
I wasn't going to post untill I rooted the divise but Holly jusus.. I've been working on it.. I've tried everything .. and I refuse to bulive that we can't.. evrything is brakeble just need the right tools..
I've iven trying the twrp 3v posted tryd pushing superuser but nothing..
There has to b something we r all missing and going to be so stupid we going to b so mad ..Lol..
Well back on track
Any ideas what else can I try ..
Like I sed I have a ZMAX pro just for root search and exploit..

ADB disemmcwp (works on other phones to mount sysfiles r/w. Apparently it's partially disabled for Zpro. Go Figure!)

ADB shell runs in user mode not Kerbal (go figure)

ZTE Please with a cherry on top give us root :)
 
Just get a galaxy S20.It has 30 cores 15 clocked at 10 GHz and 15 clocked at 9.5 GHz.it has a 16k screen and can last 20 months without being charged even if you played gta 8 the whole time.it charges in two seconds from 0% and it is unbreakablIt also has a permissive kernel (built in root) and has native lineageos support from samsung. It cost €200
