From the commands I'm running from my VM it's looking like a full distro that allows a temp like root state for Linux. I'm not too fancy in Linux I do more Python and Java of the sorts from computer science but if someone can push adb(you can get into adb) with su file or maybe emode
 
Well..I'm no dev don't plan on banging my head on my Keyboard to achieve root let alone banging my head on my keyboard for various other scripts...But basically I can't access my computer right now to test fully but I was able to adb on a friend's laptop. Now further when I get back I plan on using my own rig to push my su binaries and apk via ADB since this term is already root capable. To the full extent of that capability I don't know as to why I asked if Messi can spare some of his time to thoroughly check it out since it looks promising hypothetically speaking


Although this is kinda hard to go through since dude who made this is missing *some* command related scripts since that can't perform like a full fledged term maybe someone that has some skillz with Linux and modifying this apk to essentially run as a full terminal like root terminal.... We can get into directories with root privileges maybe if we can locate a sudo file on this phone...Idk insights.

But just from the phone access and gnuroot....Mount is achieved..Dunno if it will help in the long run but I was able to mount r/w in system

It will mount but idk if it stays. It doesn't show any other command line of syntax. I press enter and it just goes to next line of command but it worked last night...Not sure what I was doing just testing bunch of things out..hmm

<nope> ZTE . I'll trade it for <nope> or a better phone or shall I say a phone with fastboot and Bootloader access

They should print in big letters if Bootloader is locked and fastboot is usable or not!

If there's ever something you need a tester for that isn't 80% likely to brick my phone I would be glad to help. Though if you're still working on this by summer I might have a new phone, in which case I wouldn't mind sacrificing my Zmax.
 
testing and developing a dirty cow tool, if it works based upon security patches only B08 would be vulnerable, but will continue to look into other builds
 
If you've found a way to push files to the device try pulling the build prop and changing the OS build to ro.build.type=eng .
