I manage to go to selinux dir it is in enforcing mode. When I try to change to permissive - it's denied. Really interesting trying all the busy box commands I find though. Something to learn.

This is exactly why I asked earlier if there was anyway to block forced updates. In their latest update the exploits detected were already patched. They are probably using this forum to make their security patches.
I did notice if I disable the system app data when viewing system apps in settings the option to check for updates disappeared. I don't know if they can still push updates with out it.This is exactly why I asked earlier if there was anyway to block forced updates. Manufacturers have always kept an eye on public posts to fix issues and exploits.
This is why most rooters don't publicly post techniques unless there is a downgrade option.

You can use BusyBox for root level stuffWhat does BusyBox have to do with root, and why does it make you suspect the phone has hidden root.
The vulnerabilities and the fact that they were patched after b08 is not news. Hopefully someone can get around the write protection and find an exploit.
Huawei happily unlocks their bootloaders for you . They're also number 3 in the market after apple and Samsung . I definitely think it's worth mentioning. Also their Kirin processors are superior to Snapdragons imo
Samsung and LG are among the top manufacturers who are trying to stop rooting.Samsung updates security updates way more often then usual.Nexus and HTC provide bootloader unlocks, but then again google agrees with an open phone.jhgfrtu
loonycgb2Manufacturers have always kept an eye on public posts to fix issues and exploits. This is why most rooters don't publicly post techniques unless there is a downgrade option.
Not entirely accurate.Nexus, Samsung, LG, HTC could care less if you root their devices.

Try using that and FRP in the same sentence. Google puts more effort into patching FRP exploits than they do with improving their crappy firmware. Quite frankly, they do a great job blocking me from unlocking phones I buy legitimately.... And nice job with the stupid OEM unlock toggle that you can't get to under FRP. I've always wondered why that was an option in Lollipop+ dev options, and if it really did anything. Yup. It does lol..loonycgb2
jhgfrtu
loonycgb2Manufacturers have always kept an eye on public posts to fix issues and exploits. This is why most rooters don't publicly post techniques unless there is a downgrade option.
Not entirely accurate.Nexus, Samsung, LG, HTC could care less if you root their devices.
How can you disable the software updates for the phone?
Mine is trying to update.
To disable the update got into apps show system in the settings and find software/firmware updates disable and force stop now when you go into about phone it no longer shows the check for update. You may need to clear data if it's already been download
Maybe tamper with the vm.panic_on_oom because it says you can make a panic when it's out of memory.Maybe we can somehow use the vm.panic_on_oom setting to somehow force a kernel panic? Also, could editing the build.prop help anywhere?
