Don't use King root. Once you root, it is next to impossible to unroot(updates). There has also been proof that once your phone is rooted it copies I either to make a Chinese clone phone.Downloaded new kingroot from XDA root got to 60%. Didn't try again but before it would only go to 19 or 20% maybe they will figure it out. I have the z988 wich is basically the same phone.
G3 is a good device but it have a short battery life per charge and the screen is someway pale , atm i will continue at this thread till something new appear...Well, in about a week and a half I'll be retiring my zmax pro since I just bought a pre owned LG G3. If @messi2050 wants to take over the op of this thread or start a new thread and have this one closed it's fine by me. Good luck getting root hopefully it all works out.

My friend dfuse06 suggested it to me and the specs and price looked good so I went for it. With a snapdragon 801 and a 1440×2560 screen I'm sure the battery can drain a little quick but there are more important issues for me. I was thinking about getting the Stylo 2 plus but the g3 was cheaper and looked better to me. Anyway, if you want me to add anything to the OP just let me know and like I said it's completely up to you what happens with this thread.G3 is a good device but it have a short battery life per charge and the screen is someway pale , atm i will continue at this thread till something new appear...

looks very promising thanks!( http://www.androidbrick.com/unbrick...-you-have-the-right-kind-of-rom-qhsusb_dload/) I was researching the ZTE edl mode. Specifically flashing recovery in edl and found the guide in the link to be very interesting. I don't have access to a computer to see if it's helpful but I was hoping someone could take a look and verify its nature. It almost looks like in the steps you get to an option for flashing recovery.img..
wtf it's a password protected file...( http://www.androidbrick.com/unbrick...-you-have-the-right-kind-of-rom-qhsusb_dload/) I was researching the ZTE edl mode. Maybe through the properties of the web site. They're usually hidden if you go through the sources. Maybe I can find it.Yes and the guy on that site is a real di¢k. I asked him for the password and his response was to tell me to read the whole article which I already had done. He says over and over to read the whole article before asking for the password. He implies that the password is hidden somewhere in the article but if its there I damn sure can't find it.
Yes it's a spamming post as i checked the file and it's corrupt.Actually, thinking about it, it says if you want help please consider giving him a "donation" so basically he is trolling for donations. Considering he is demanding donations for software he didn't make and doesn't own there might not even be anything useful in the archive. If it contained anything useful I'm sure someone would have reuploaded it somewhere else already.
Thanks gonna check it.This one actually looks legit.. password free.. no PC to test.. ( http://d-h.st/OiZL) as the the spam version described, you should be able to flash full firmware or individual sections like recovery..
Worked for me, I think the password, though, is: dont fear the reaperwtf it's a password protected file...
We're you able to flash messi2050 twrp recovery to zmax pro successfully with it?Worked for me, I think the password, though, is: dont fear the reaper

You can't flash custom recoveries/roms using the stock recovery.Ok.. So if we can access Recovery Mode and flash TWRP than we can get root? I got into Recovery Mode by holding Vol up and Power button.
Could we apply this same method to the ZMax Pro -->https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=pbYLCoRgTy8You can't flash custom recoveries/roms using the stock recovery.
