I just signed up too. Anything to help with the effort. Also thanks messi. I really appreciate you taking your time to help even though you're very busy these days.We should have one subscribed to this beta test program , beta builds usually be engineering builds with fastboot enabled , we need to have every new ota update pushed in this program uploaded here to examine it , i would do it but I'm not a u.s resident.
yes, and the store demo already has b014, it's a conflict of interest though to penetration test the thing while on clock or off. So instead i just found the update elsewhere. It is available to ONE PERSON ONLY on these forums as of right now since we are close (as seen by ZTE coming to Android Forums) and i trust noone. (Not a direct reply btw, not being a dbag.)
T0odles.
You the man Messi.. thanks for the info

Possible that anyone who asked for bootloader unlock on zte forums will be denied."Thanks for your application. Should you be chosen, you'll receive an email with further instructions."
I know, but if everyone signs up, I'm sure someone will get inPossible that anyone who asked for bootloader unlock on zte forums will be denied.
same thing happened when jcase talked about helping root the original zmax (z970)I agree, nobody likes a tease.
same thing happened when jcase talked about helping root the original zmax (z970)
forums were filled with people begging for root.
jcase happened to have a phone
he decided to check it out.
said he was making progress.
everybody in the forums kept badgering him for proof. (demanding him to respond to every question being thrown at him and being called for a liar.)
he got pissed and decided not to release anything. only posting a screenshot.
TL;DR:
don't piss off the person that might be able to help you.
ignore the person if you think they are lying but don't demand anything.
You misunderstood the point completely.. Jon said he has the update file cause owning some stores give him him some pull.. from what I'm reading.. he flashing and testing g and when I simply ask to look at the file, he gave me the corporate no.. that's not helping. That's derailing progress, not stopping it. To make himself look worse, he says he only sharing with Messi and bragging bout he got juice but not sharing. He's the jcase of Android forums.. just more useless. It's not like we never getting what he have. According to him, we jest have to wait. Take that crap over to XDA where it's acceptable..same thing happened when jcase talked about helping root the original zmax (z970)

yeah, exactly. What a trainwreck of a thread, lol.
This entire thread should be trashed. It's just people going around in circles and giving up, then a few weeks later new users join and attempt the same things as the last users did without reading the thread.(Which I understand, at this point it is way over 1,000 posts)
Just delete this thing and create a new thread with the original post talking about what we do know and what we've tried and sticky it as the official root discussion thread.
If new users instantly knew about all of the methods we have already tried, they would not waste time trying the same methods over and over to get root.
Like getting into fastboot...
Or Kingroot...
Or INSERTROOTINGAPPHERE...
I think we could all agree that it would be better if new users had all of the information we have worked for available in one post so they are caught up to speed with users that have already been here for a while. Then we can all focus on finding a way to get root that hasn't been tried and posted here 500 times.
Thanks @anubis2048I could do it. We could also keep the new thread updated with current information.
*EDIT*
It's up now, any moderators feel free to add any information I missed. I think I summed it up pretty well.
