Root ZTEROOT

Well I have somewhat good news on the rooting front. While you can't root B13 yet, Kingroot does give it a try now instead of saying no root method available. So I hope this is a step in the right direction.

must have it now stopped and will not turn on X.x everything installed right but when i went to super su it said i needed to update did that and then it i guess bricked X.x

Sounds like your partitioning is muffed somewhere.. Without an adb root prompt your boned... As far as everything else goes.. Admin I'm requesting this thread be locked for the time being I don't have the time to finish the updated script.. I'm sorry guys it's been a decent run but family comes first if anyone wants what I have message or email me and I'll attach the script in current form which I'd riddled with syntax errors I started both a nix script and a Windows script email Is mbennerd@gmail.com

ok so I have adb what do I do I really need some help pleas :) every time I get it into the FTM mode it will recognize it but I have no idea what to do ?

Ok I did root the phone last I know it was half root with king root method tried to get full root and it bricked well went into a boot loop and some times will stop at FTM mode. Before it went into a boot loop every thing was working until I open up super su and it told me to update so I hit the update and that is where I guess I went wrong because after that it boot looped .. I looked all over how to fix but nothing I know has worked . would you be kind to send me to the right place where I can learn how to use the stock boot partition for ZTE Z max?

Get an adb console and type who am I temp root and root are very different things... Once you get the boot img you'll just use the dd command to move it to the boot partition it needs to be for your build if it isn't it won't work

It sounds like he may have gotten as far as planting the su binary in /system/xbin but had not updated the binary yet. Then when he got the prompt to update the binary he may have chosen the option to update the binary through twrp instead of normal. Then his phone tried to reboot to a recovery that wasn't installed which is why he has a bootloop. Also, wouldn't he still have that boot.IMG on his phone? When you dd the boot.IMG you don't move it you just copy it. I believe what he has to do is dd twrp recovery.IMG onto his recovery partition and wipe cache.

Yes it went in to TWRP and rebooted the phone but said it had no MD5 so I now can use my phone as normal but I think it is still just half rooted. when I go to root checker it says that it is rooted but it always said that when I had it just rooted with king root method.? I have not read any thing on MD5 tho witch is prob really impotent XD
