Yeah, it would be Virgin issue. Textra MMS doing same thing. I checked on multiple devices, same issue. Also switch between different messenger apps and still had the same problem so that would lead me to believe that it's Virgin Mobile issue

mine shows the spark, but that doesn't mean that it's actually being used. would like to figure out how to find out if it is. I wonder how we could find out, what type of test would be needed to be ran to find out? Not just a simple speedtest, correct? (I dont know)

Wonder if its just Virgin....its on Sprint network.
So is anyone on Boost, Sprint, or any other variants running into the "not sending attachments" issue??o_O
 
Okay so the text with picture(attachment) I sent my other device last night finally showed up 15 minutes ago. So 11:30pm last night to 4:05pm.... glad it wasn't something important, right???o_Oo_O

Same here. Even tried hangouts which i think sucks,and it is doing same thing. Im going to post a flash zip set for the new stuff. Whole roms not needed for it. Its lgsystemui,lgsettings,framework-res,lge-res and the fm radio app. And for Xperia the file manager widget and clocks set. I'll get this stuff up tomorrow morning I'm hoping. Got free time from work the next two or three days.
 
Sprint Spark works on my end. You could be experiencing a data issue. Seems to be effecting mms messaging in some areas and data im general in other areas. I think they are repairing or updating equipment. Then again it could just be traffic issues. I get that a lot. Some days its very fast. Some days you can tell its slowed down some. I am interested to know whether or not anyone else has noticed a data slow down since moving to zv6. Could be an issue since the last zv update.
 
Can I go back to the odexed rom or whatever I had (zv6) before the stock with Gapps I found here? Just curious. Some of my apps like Amazon Shopping are no longer compatible with my device :( Thank you

You can just go sideload the app. I use apkmirror (everything is verified safe), here's a link to Amazon Shopping:

If you use Pushbullet, you can subscribe to the app and get notifications when there's an update since it won't update from the store until it's marked compatible again.

Sure you can always go back to stock rom at any time. Or you might want to download the open gapps package for 4.4.x and flash it. Most likely will restore compatibility. Visit here and select version ARM > 4.4 > nano or full package. opengapps.org/

I'm using open gapps and its incompatible for me as well, which is why I suggested sideload. Why a shopping app has any compatibility requirements is beyond me.
 
Weirdest thing yall....

I saw some posts yesterday or the day before about mms not working. Mine just stopped working TODAY!!! Lol

I'm on boost. Had ZV6 from get go so I didn't flash any apn fix or radio. I'll get to the bottom of this!! First issue I've had with this rom other than calender issue and some widgets which I think could be density issue.

Im still getting the mms issue. Completely unresolved. All I can say is until Virgin gets this fixed. No mms and really no way to truly tell if its the rom or them. Like I said they aren't trustworthy in regards to customer support.
 
On the MMS issue. For anyone having it. Call Virgin Mobile,Boost,etc and see if they state your area is experiencing data issues. Outgoing. That's what they told me. I am betting if I call in now another slug will tell me there is no issue or sone other crap.
 
Ok....well called back to the meatheads at Virgin and the first meathead tells me the issue was resolved this morning. So I tell him nope not on my end and others not in my local area are having issues also...forgot to mention our hot rom packs lol...anyway got shuffled off to meathead 1's supervisor who told me mumbo jumbo about the issue being related to updates that would make my service better and give it about two weeks even though meathead 1 said it was resolved this morning locally....meathead 2 blew off mentions of others not in my local area or even state having same issues....still promoting the better service that would come from these supposed updates and to be patient...what a bunch of hogwash. Better service lmao at that claim.
 
Idk my mms was working until today. I hadn't changed anything but the GPS.conf file a little. I flashed the new update, which is awesome BTW, cleared cache/dalvik and it started working. Like I said earlier though, I'm on Boost, not Virgin. I'm in Daytona Beach and Sprint/Boost is pretty big down here because of NASCAR
 
well switched to total non stock on slimkat. mms failed at first but one finally sent and then came back. even simple sms message tests are dribbling in slowly. has to be a network issue. slim is using direct apns and stock is being filtered through chameleon bloatware not direct apn access.
 
Might be a dumb question, but would it make a difference if you sent mms over 4G rather than WiFi?

I was having an issue with WiFi at first. Pages on my Dolphin browser would take a long time to load than say page couldn't load. I turned WiFi off then back on and it was fine. Doesn't happen often now.
 
i use both as needed. mms issues are always on carrier data services. i might add i wont be on this slimkat long. works well for what it is but that isnt saying much. no theme manager,no real camera support,no real video support...fun as a novelty but that's it. i have relied on stock roms since 4.1.2 because every rom no matter device since always had broken functionality. seems the more android versions that are released the more broken things stay the same.
