Root ZV6 V.5 Stock Mod - Debloated - No Gapps

Good question to ask @whoshotjr2006

I dont even use the swap at all, never really noticed any gains with previous devices.

Yeah me either. Never noticed any gain using it. Did see a mod or two that can increase internal storage by repartitioning and another that disabled internal sd use for external in the g2 mods forum on xda. Those would be very useful applied to our device partitions. Need to read up more on them.

Ok you know what? Im calling it a day on this stuff. The last upload wasn't right either. Its missing a few charging animations. Making mistakes. Forgetting things. Will start fresh later tomorrow.

is there a way to change the dpi to the normal version on the xperia rom?

Open build.prop with favorite text editor or app like root explorer by long pressing over build.prop and select open with, text editor. Scroll through until you see the following :

Code:
ro.sf.lcd_density=220

Change the value from 200 to 240.

I guess it comes back to what are you going to use any of the tools for in the first place (individual agenda/motive).
C'est la vie.
This was my point. Lucky patcher provides tools/functions that could be used for dishonest motives, such as breaking license checks, etc. I never said it was specifically made for piracy, just that it provides the capability.

^^^that, and normally when folks show up looking for information, its for the wrong reasons. I've been following along with this conversation. Please keep it and intellectual discussion as it's been so far. Any discussion on how to break licenses will have to be shut down and I don't want to end the conversation. :)

No problem, wouldn't dream of taking up that line of conversation. Just trying to point out why it wouldn't be wise to include it in a ROM. :)

I have tried to no avail to get swap to work with The Uno kernel would be nice if it did I know it worked on the older version
Yeah, I was disappointed by that change too. :( You could always go back to the old one. I don't think there's a whole lot of performance difference.

I already decided against anything that might remotely be debated when it comes to piracy. I decided on the Open Gapps option. It is the perfect alternative as it works and there is no debate about its legitimacy. I consider the topic over although I do not mind the intellectual conversation as long as the staff here deem it appropriate. I ask members to not link from this OP any of the methods discussed outside the open gapps option. Thanks all.

I tried that but i got stuck on a black screen after the lg boot and had to reflash on each attempt

Got themeing under way for the main ui bringing over themeing from the htc one v cdma primo c slimbean rom I ported from gsm. There is a lot already in framework and lge res apks but as you may know you only see the elements as you encounter them in popup dialogs, apps, etc. But the list includes icons galore that you will encounter, all dialog boxes except those were an app controls the dialogs and more. Heres a few screens. Also a file manager widget and a calendar widget plus clocks widget from slimbean as well. These items will only be for the xperia mod except for the themeing and the file manager widget which will be in both.

You can always push/copy the backed up build.prop to /system with TWRP file manager, instead of reflashing the rom. That way everything is still intact, plus it's faster than flashing a whole rom.

Swap isn't really useful for Android unless you push your device on multitasking and/or use ram heavy applications.
Not hard to do with only 1GB of RAM and the system using half of it. I have Facebook set up with security code verification and apps will close just opening the text popup to get the code.

Another variant of the pop ups. All of these are by MrDSL by the way. Gave permission to use these elements when theming stock sense 4 on the htc one v. The elements are from cobalt and mixer themes. Going to use them here. Not sure which pop up style I want. The cobalt semi transparent those above or these... Which do you guys like?

I like the dark set better. Is there anyway you can offer both? Like a fishable zip or something?

Actually both have dark pop up. Just lay out is different. When all is done I will offer an alternate res pak for those who want either/or. Will be off for a few. About to reboot device and test what I have with uno kernel aka "kernel sanders" lol

Well everything is done except fixing plug n pop crap again...deleted the lg set up app...and my headphones png is improperly sized for the status bar. uno is running fine although ive not set anything with nor ran benchmark tests. will fix png in the am along with poop n pop.
