Thank you, olbriar. I have previously gone onto my Google contacts online and when using the merge and fix option it doesn't find any.I had a similar problem years ago. I went onto Google and found that contacts that seemed the same had subtle differences. I had to take the time to make each contact identically the same as all instances of the contact to remedy the problem. I hope that is the case with your contacts and that's a fix for you.
Thank you for your response.Yes, it is possible to get all audio ports from an USB attached device. You can use Android's AudioManager class to access each port and configure the routing of the audio accordingly. You can also use audio APIs such as OpenSL ES to access the audio ports. From there, you can use the Audio Routes API to route the audio to multiple destinations. Additionally, you should take a look at some 3rd party libraries that provide more options for audio routing, such as the Audio Jack library.
A new TV box may well be the way to go. For one thing: It's unlikely that your Android 4 box is still getting security updates. But jf you do keep using your current one, you should probably use the Puffin Cloud Browser on it. It's the only browser I know of that still gets security updates on Android 4. You don't want a browser without security updates, on top of an operating system without security updates! What tv box do you recommend? MXQ? or maybe mecool? or maybe something else?
I'm still thinking about:
Chromecast
Xiaomi
Realme
or just the cheapest like this: https://allegro.pl/oferta/smart-box-tv-4k-android-10-wifi-bt-przystawka-tv-13005935715
or something similar.
Glad you were able to recover them, that's a great app to keep tucked away.Worked perfectly!!! Thanks!
31 December 1969 was the UNIX Epoch, aka launch. That's why it is the default date and time on a UNIX/Linux-based OS. Similar is the IBM date of 1 January 1980 on the IBM PC 5150, being its launch. If you search December 31, 1969 (or1969-12-31) there's a whole bunch of stuff on that date. Seems to have something to do with Unix. It's really odd since there is so much information on it.
Also, if you can't delete or rename it, can you change the date?
Actually, Chromium/Chrome OS did "fool" me into thinking that it was Android. More to the point: It's a simple matter of practicality. I won't count something as an Android device, unless the user can use Android on it. On both the Echo smart speaker and the Nook Simple Touch: The Android is under-the-hood, and inaccessible to the user.By that argument I could easily fool someone to believe a heavily customized Linux is Windows, or that a heavily customized Android build is iOS, but people aren't yet that stupid.
