Location of podcast files in Google Podcasts

I use the Google Podcast app on my Samsung Galaxy A4 Lite. Most of its 32GB storage is full and I think this might be partly because when I remove podcasts from the app, they might still be in my tablet somewhere. I notice that if I look at the storage for the app in Settings, it is the same figure before and after I delete a bunch of podcasts. Do I need to find them somewhere else in the tablet?

I-Digit Watch Face

I wouldn’t say I like such models. As for me, those are outdated. I only divide watches into two categories; the useful electronical ones and pretty. I use good watches at the gym to see how many calories I have burned, what was my heartbeat, and other helpful information. While, I use pretty ones to go to the office, for meetings, celebrations and going out. I buy the last category in luxurious brands and pay thousands for them. I put them in a pretty watch winder too. And that watch you posted is somewhere in the middle; pretty useless

How to generate a large number of phone numbers?

Scammers and spammers send out automated robocalls, every day, by the countless thousands. If a human being answers a call, and actually interacts with it (such as pressing 9 to be removed from the call list - never do that), the value of that number increases on the market.

That said, I can't think of any legitimate reason why anyone would be paid to verify phone numbers as valid. If a person wants messages with coupons or discounts, they should be able to opt-in by providing their own number. My 2c

Help Gallery app has its image dates wrong

Timestamps get stored in each photo file's metadata, and there's an inherent problem involving how different platforms interpret and display metadata. Windows prioritizes that data the way Microsoft prefers, Android the way Google prefers, and on top of all of that there's a really big issue in that any storage media using a FAT-based file system is simply not able to handle file metadata in a proper manner (microSD cards use either FAT32 or exFAT by default). The FAT file system goes back to the 90's, it's now obsolete and simply isn't able to support today's technology.

So there are OS issues, that only get amplified with the limitations with the FAT file system of a SD card.. An example being, the timestamp in the file's metadata will be something like 2022:10:05:16:35:36
or year:month:day:hour:minute:second (note that UTC is the standard for time zones)
If you have a few thousands of photos in your photo library, in a purely logical, numerical sort using that timestamp is simple. But we humans don't necessarily use logic. Here in America we prefer month, date, year and a 12-hour clock tied to time zones to view that same metadata, so doing that same kind of numerical sort involves some background conversion. Now add in how Microsoft and how Google interpret the timestamps in a file metadata, all diluted by FAT limitations. You're using two different operating systems and different ways to check your file dates.
In an ideal world, you would be able to use all your devices (computers, laptops, mobile devices, etc.) that are fully compatible with each other or are all using the same operating system, but here in the real world there are too many commercial interests, profit motives, and just plain tribalism in mindsets. That leaves us to cope with compromises and workarounds with all of our gadgetry.

I'll tentatively suggest you try the Simple Mobile Tools Gallery Pro app instead, it's a pay-for version but only a $1.29
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.simplemobiletools.gallery.pro&hl=en_US&gl=US
The point being, it has a much, much bigger feature set than the Gallery app. Be sure to go into the app's Settings menu to set it up accordingly to customize it to your particular needs -- i.e. there's a lot of options as to how you want the set the date appearance. Year-Month-Day or Month-Day-Year or Month/Day/Year and more, and use the display Sort icon in the top menubar.

2023 MLB Rule Changes

I'm in favor of anything that will make the games a bit more competitive. I'm accustomed to losing so I'm not whining. I watch the Royals because they are my team. I will admit to only half watching their games that I mute and listen to streamed music and mess with this forum. The games are rarely close and just isn't a stand alone entertainment. I would not dream of paying money to watch them on TV or in their stadium.

They had a great run in 2015. I was always a George Brett fan. Him and Mike Schmidt were the 2 best 3B guys and matched up in 1980

did you see one crazy fan jump(fall off) the railing trying to catch the ball???

they already identified the guy who actually caught the ball. some reports said that the ball could be worth $2.1 million bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll have to watch the clip again. I missed seeing a guy fall but I get it.
Yep, that ball is already worth a lot and will be worth more as the years go by.

I think the guy jumped :) Funny stuff. Thanks for pointing it out.

Alert if two android devices are separated?

I tried to get us pretty much off the grid. Granted, I didn't go as far as to move to an amish community. But, we moved where there's no high speed internet available in the area other than 4g. We do have wifi at home. I have the Synology router hooked to an AT&T 4g modem. So, as far as it goes for the kids though, we do have wifi and it's pretty reliable.... I work from home, so it has to be reliable. I got rid of all of our Google Hubs and smart devices that had screens on them because the kids were using that to get around my blocks.

I was trying to keep my kids completely off of all electronics. But the school requires them to use a chromebook and PC (3 of my kids a chromebook and 1 a PC.) They are required to use them to pass the grade. I told my wife, I wish it was 1990. I wish this stuff didn't exist. But, it does exist and we can't pretend it doesn't. It's getting more and more integrated into our lives by the day, like it or not.

But, my objective is to make sure all electronics in the house are used on a daily basis. I don't want any electronics sitting in a drawer. I want it something we use and would notice if it's missing or has been compromised.
