FWIW I have a Note20 Ultra myself, and the audio on that is OK for phone speakers. If I want to listen to things in HiFi, I use proper speakers or headphones.

Help Sound Assistant

How does separate app sound in sound assistant work? When u tap on the Bluetooth icon for one device it sometimes works as it should, and switches media from that app to BT speaker and leaves others to play on the phone. But now, most of the time it takes both app sounds to BT device or to device sound, it doesn't separate it.

Help Need help syncing Google Contacts to a Fire tablet

I have the same ptoblem. I loaded Google play store (and its supporting APKs) and can install apps from the Play Store. Gmail works fine with my Google account. Contacts says there are no contacts (there are actually hundreds).

I had the same SMS permission error, so I checked and the SMS permission was set. I removed it, rebooted, and then set it again. The error has gone away but the contacts still do not sync.

The contacts sync fine on my Android phone but not on the Fire HD tablet.

I would appreciate any advice on how to get contacts to sync!

Well Total Call Recorder doesn't work either. Stupid Google. I'm in the UK and there is no law against me recording calls, why are they doing this?

"As an individual you are able to record phone calls. There are currently no UK laws prohibiting actually recording the call – just what you do with the information when you have captured it. The only time call recording becomes illegal is if you hand over the information to a third party without the customer who has been recorded’s consent. So are u saying that the phone might need 2 different APNs, 1 for internet and 1 for MMS? If so, I haven't found any other information about Page Plus using that type of setup. I also haven't found any APNs that work w/ MMS.

I have used those things, and even the winged things you fold together, push through, (the wings expand then) and tighten the screw.

They will work, but they are temporary at best.
And very weak, as the drywall must first be damaged to use any of them.

They then expand and/or clamp into/behind the drywall that has been weakend with a hole.

Going into the studs is the only proper and reliable way.

Yes, after digging into the AOSP, I found a fix. I don't think there's anything related to this topic online so I will post here for anyone who has the same issue.

The cause is the "QuickContactActivity.java" does not set a default "isOverlayWithDecorCaptionEnabled" on creation. It should be set to false by calling "setOverlayWithDecorCaptionEnabled(false)" in onCreate, so that the decorcaption, i.e. the title bar on top of the window, pushes the content of down instead of overlaying on the content. After adding this one line, the problem was fixed for me.

I am working on a particular device in our company, but I imagine this could apply to all android 11 devices.

Very rarely are people asking about notifications on their own phone. What usually lies behind these questions (apologies to the OP if this is not their situation) is that their partner sends them a screenshot, they see a notification on it they don't recognise and, for whatever reason, they can't live without knowing what it is and aren't able to just ask.

If it's your own phone you just pull the notifications down and you can see what it is.

How Do I stop google uploading My Information?

He means when you add a contact you can either choose to sync with Google (or various other accounts such as Microsoft Exchange, Samsung Account, etc) or save it as a 'phone' only contact meaning it does not sync or backup the details. It'd be a local only contact and if you lost the phone or busted it, that data would be lost.

I've saved contacts as phone only since my Nokia 5185i days. It's just a habit I refuse to break, much like keeping my music on an SD Card, and avoiding anything mentioning the 'cloud' or 'subscription'

I love games resembling Moon or Jupiter Lander (from my old C-64). I tried your game and graphics are OK but controls seem to be too fast to move the ship. Also, gas is not enough sometimes for the first levels (with the moving barriers) making it really hard to win (specially with the super sensible controls). Good concept though. Keep up the good work. Cheers.
