New App: Planet Crash (Version 1.0.2)

Planet Crash is a game in which you need to put several identical objects in a row or diagonally, but unlike classic games of this kind, the player is invited to make tactical decisions several moves ahead.

The main challenge of the game is that the next planet can only be sent to one of several target positions, which are calculated according to a certain pattern relative to the current position. This fact makes the player calculate the steps and analyze the current disposition in a way similar to chess.

You can choose one of three difficulty levels and try to set a record for each of the levels.

If you like to relax and develop your mind at the same time, then this game is perfect for you!

Mobile phones w/ customizable voice commands?

I check with the group periodically, so see if there are any phones on the market that function like the old Motorola Moto X Pure or other Motorola Phones with Moto Voice software. With those phones, You could create custom wake up phrases, go back and forth through your emails or messages and have the read aloud, get GPS coordinates, and more all 100% hands free, which was great if you drive a lot for a living.
Sadly, Lenovo discontinued this. (Never a big fan of motorola phones after that)
Anybody seen or heard of any phones like that on the market?
Thanks!

Find My Device

Back in 2010 or 2011 several of us tested this: ran our phones with GPS on and off and compared lifetimes. It makes no difference at all.

As Brian says, GPS is only used when an app that requires it checks location. So sure, if you do something like set up a route in Google maps, turn navigation on and then leave the phone like that it will drain quickly (and not just from the GPS). But unless you do something like that it has no impact.

(I actually go one further and use just GPS, no network-based location. And I deny location access to any app that I don't think will need it, and allow most others to only access location when I am using the app. But that's for reasons of privacy rather than power drain).

Alarms disappeared

I use my Pixel 4a as my alarm clock and I overslept this morning. I just assumed I was extra tired that I didn't remember turning the alarm off and falling back asleep. But later my wife mentioned that she doesn't remember hearing my alarm and it normally wakes her up also.

I checked the Google Clock app and all my alarms were gone. I had several alarms set for reminders and such and they were all missing. Not all my clock data was missing though. I have some world clocks set for a few cities around the world and that is still there. Just my alarms vanished.

Anyone else experience that?

Unfortunately, of course, Google will open up one of its own as default (Google owns Youtube).

And just as unfortunate is the fact that Bixby generally just plain sucks.

I gave up on voice commands years ago, it must have been after the umpteenth time of resetting it to recognize my voice.

I just use BlackPlayer, and have it set to shuffle.

No voice command control, but much less annoyance.
