Hi. How can i lock app drawer

What do you mean "lock app drawer"? Lock it so that new apps can't be added? That doesn't make sense. Lock it so it can't be opened? Just remove the icon from your desktop (but I can't think why you'd want to do this). So can you explain more clearly what you are trying to do?

In any event, the app drawer is produced by the launcher app, so unless you tell us what launcher you are using we can't help. If you aren't aware that you are using a launcher then you are using the one that came with the phone, in which case you'll need to tell us what phone you have.

Ringtone won't change

does it just stay the same? is it the same one before the update? are your ringtones on your sd card? or internal? are you sure you still have them?

just curious try using zedge. its a free wallpaper and ringtone app. its what i use for my ringtones.

The phone has the ringtone I'm trying to use, I try to apply it, the phone says its been changed but the ringtone
I get is something that is on the phone ever since the update. I can't change it to any ringtone at all.

Need Recommendations On A New Phone

Thanks for the heads up on that. It says they have coverage in my area and I can use my phone. But if they're contracted with t-mobile there's a lot of places around where I live that it doesn't work. I live in a pretty rural area of GA.

Edit: I checked phone compatibility again and expanded it. It's saying my phone is VoLTE compatible. But this is the reason cricket is saying that it isn't.

Yeah, coverage and which carrier you use is a big problem here in the U.S. Depending on where you live it can be a non-issue or a real pain. If T-Mobile's cellular network is too spotty for you, best stick with AT&T's service (or a MVNO that's contracted with AT&T). The issue with the carriers and their respective cellular networks is a pretty complicated matter, and there is no phone that can work with all of them, at least not be fully functional. There's a cellular radio chip in every phone, and they're also made to work with just some bands/frequencies. So some phones will of course be fully capable to handle 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE for some cellular networks (corresponding with the carrier or carriers the phone is by design intended to work with), but when it comes to other carriers, perhaps only cursory support for 2G and 3G but not 4G/LTE, or some other combination of the three (... with the added issue being 2G and 3G networks are or are in the process of being eliminated.)
This article discusses the bands the major carriers rely upon, with some handy charts:

To Scam or Not to Scam

So what info was exchanged that assured you as to whom you were speaking?
Easy. I logged in as we spoke, and they told me the exact amounts, dates, locations of the charges in question, which I compared to what I saw in my account. They also told me previous legitimate charges, dates, etc., which also matched my actual activity. Some random scam artist wouldn't have known any of that.

No location services?

OT:
Where I am, China, quite frankly I don't think there's any need for a radar detector, although they are legal here AFAIK. All speed camera, traffic light camera locations are publicly documented, and so all one needs is just a mobile phone running a satnav app, and that gives plenty of warning when one is on the roads.

How does this work for mobile units in police vehicles?
And woudn't I also need location services to function on my device in order for any such app like that to be useful?

I tried to reboots my Samsung Galaxy tablet S2

also i have a tab s2, but it is the nook version......and my battery life is terrible now. it is what i expect out of a tablet that came out in 2015. devices these days only last as long as their battery will give them most litium-ion battreries have a life of about 3-4 years.....so this device is way out of that range. if you are into dyi, you can go to https://www.ifixit.com/ for guides, tools and supplies on how to change your battery.

not sure what size tab s2 you have but here are the links:

Nearly locked myself out!

Wow, @MoodyBlues , that's a bizarre situation that has to involve a corrupt digitizer.
Nah, just my sweet, adorable, can't-do-anything-wrong-in-Mommy's-eyes little girl, Joy Noelle. :D

I've heard of butt-dialing and butt-texting - but that would lend a whole new definition to butt-wiping...

:p
Indeed! You know, when it was happening, all I could focus on was figuring out how to stop the noise without accidentally wiping my phone. I never even thought to look at where it had been when it started automatically pressing itself, to see what caused it. I routinely put this phone face-down on my bed, because at night its pretty blue lit circle on the back is nicer to look at than the display (which lights up when there's motion). But it's normally on a pillow next to me. This was, I think, the first time I'd ever put it on the bed itself, face-down. I always have a bunch of...stuff...on my bed (various remotes, my old phone, my tablet, an apple, mail), so there's no telling what caused the pressing. I did LEARN from it, though! :o

Samsung S10e Replacement Recommendations

The Pixel 5 fits those size constraints and has wireless charging.

If a taller phone of the same width is acceptable then the Galaxy S20 and S21 become candidates (both around 6" in height but 2.8" or less in width). If you give up wireless charging then you get many more options.

GSMArena have a phone finder tool that lets you specify things like this and search for phones meeting your requirements. Since it's not an American site you have to use mm for the height and width, but that's a simple conversion.

HELP! Storage Isssues

Something I forgot to mention-
apps such as Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, and many others like to store files in their own folders.

For instance, say you see a funny meme on Messenger, and you select 'Save To Device'.
The app has already made a folder just for Messenger, and the media from that app will be stored in there.

Depending on whatever Gallery app you are using, the placement of the file may or may not be immediately apparent.

Also, some apps, like Telegram, have the tendency to download every picture and video that you see while using the app.
Once again, this media would be stored in a folder that you may not be looking for immediately.

The worst offenders are apps that hide such data inside of their Android folders, andd the worst of the very worst keep files inside their root files- where you will have no access to them.

For a long while my Galery app was growing to almost 2GB in size every week- making it not only the single largest app on the device, but also about the same size as the system itself on one of my devices.
This was so infuriating!

It turns out that there is another 'cache' in the app, this one is not accessible by the user.

I had a few arguements with the developer over this, as he was trying to tell me that my device was just too low on resources.

I had to point out that although I agreed that my device is pathetic, it meets a standard that the vast majority of worldwide users are using {at the time, about 80% of devices were at this standard}.

Anyway, what was being stored here?
Evidently it was a 'copy' of every thumbnail from every picture and video, and maybe even some whole files, from media that I had deleted.
