Google Pixel 5 delay & gap

The "gap issue" is almost certainly not the reason for any shipping delay. Google support has indicated to customers that the small amount of gap exhibited on some devices is well within tolerances and won't impact the IP68 rating. And that seems to have been confirmed by at least one teardown which suggests that the gap may be cause by slightly too much sealant applied before the screen is pressed into the body.

It turns out that my own Pixel 5 is affected... and I never would have noticed if not for all of the noise about the gap issue. I can only see it if the light is just right and I hold the phone just so - and, of course, only if I remove the phone from its case. It's a complete non-issue for me.

I think @ocnbrze's theory is more likely. Google always seems to have trouble meeting the initial demand following a device launch - and they seem to have been particularly impacted by COVID since they're still doing company-wide WFH, which slows everything down.

Map real network drive on Android

noone knows how to do this, or if it is possible??? ;)
Why is this such a thing? I mean its possible for all platforms. Why would android be different?

Using the file manager x-plore, I can connect to my company's file server. X-plore remembers my credentials, and any time I allow the phone to log on to the company network, which isn't often, I can access the file server with no repetitive setup.

What is this heart icon app?

Is your fiancee into K-Pop?

The fact that you trimmed the screenshot down to just the one icon made a reverse image search possible. And that symbol appeared in a few YouTube and Twitter posts about "K-Pop idol ranks", which led me to this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.ib.mn.

Normally we aren't able to answer these questions: there are literally millions of apps, and the heart is a very common symbol used in many different types of app, and so unless it's a particularly well-known app it's rare that anyone can actually identify it. But this is more distinctive than the typical heart icon, a good visual match to that app's icon, and the image search didn't find anything else, so I'm hopeful that this is the answer.
