Help How to stop music from autoplaying in car?

This jackass problem has been around for years. I wish Android would give us the choice to not allow Bluetooth commands to control our phones. I NEVER want another device to be able to play media on my phone.

In my experience, when a behavior as insane as autoplay is implemented, greed is usually the reason. I strongly suspect BMI and ASCAP have their fingers in this contractually. I like having a music app, but since they all do this, it looks like I am faced with doing without. One would think that a $10/mo subscription would be enough to allow you the luxury of deciding when your phone will play music, but apparently not.

Looking for music player. Frustrated. No hope?

i know this post is over a year old, but in regards to what playlists are used for (since none touched on this)... answer: they are used typically to play your favorite songs in your entire library or a select genre/artist/album/etc..., i use playlists for playing my favorite songs from a certain TV show and to listen to my favorites from my entire library and a certain genre etc... Typically i only listen to playlists because as with soundtracks there are usually some good songs in an album but then there are those wacky, off the wall, sometimes terrible songs, or just songs you just don't want to listen to in the one album that if you just listen to the entire album the songs you don't want to listen to pop up, you have to skip them every time, and if you want to listen to more from the same TV show (IE. season 1, season 2, season 3, etc...) without having to stop playing the one album and move on to the next manually you create a playlist for those albums. If you have like thousands of songs (which i do) in your library and you don't want to have to continually be pressing the skip button every time a song you don't want to listen to plays which if you play entire library that is definitely going to happen and sometimes it could take like 30-50 skips just to get to a song you like. Playlists also make it easy to play your favorite songs without having to look down at your phone when a song you do not want to listen to very often, this is especially helpful when you are driving.

Apps ARCore app crashing on Android Emulator

I'm developing an ARCore app with Unity and I'm trying to test it on Android Studio's Android Emulator. I've built the .apk file and installed it on the virtual device but the app crashes a few seconds after starting up. Before that, it's only possible to see the app's UI, while the rest of the screen is completely black.

I've already installed the latest version of the Google Play Services for AR, set the virtual device's back camera to show the Virtual Scene, and I've also allowed my app to access the camera in the virtual device settings, but the problem persists. Also, the Virtual Scene works fine on the camera app, it just doesn't work inside my app.

Here is the stack trace, up to the point where the app crashes:

If someone could help me out with this, I would be really thankful.

Help Force Wi-Fi calling preferred

My S8 (on Android 9) has of late developed an undesirable habit: It changes the preference on Wi-Fi calling depending upon its attachment to or detachment from a Wi-Fi signal. It's a preference: If it doesn't find Wi-Fi, it should fail over to cellular; but it should not reset my preference in the process. How can I force the setting to remain on Wi-Fi preferred whether I'm on a Wi-Fi connection or not?

Opt-out cookies placement

I regularly update my opt-out options for personalize ads in Chrome on my Pixel3. I just noticed all the "safe containers" in my data storage. Before I delete all these & the " google syndication" cookies, I want to ensure these don't store my opt-outs. Does anyone know?
