AFAIK existing Huawei phones that already have Google Play and other Google apps, updates will not wipe them out.

In fact I've got a Mate 10, bought in China almost 3 years ago, that didn't originally have Google apps, but I installed ithem myself. This phone has had many updates, including updates from Android 8, to Android 9, and now it's on Android 10, and Google apps are all still there and working(Play Store, Gmail, Google Maps, Google Translate, and YouTube)

One thing, my device is 'himauhl' not 'hima', plus, I've tried flashing latest recovery you just mentioned. But my phone still sticks to the old recovery version.
I also tried fastboot oem rebootRUU, but my phone just shows HTC icon and restarts. It can however go to normal download mode AND... I've already tried flashing in that mode too...

yes......but which vr headset are you interested in? if it the gear vr is not supported. but cardboard vr does support the phone.

That was the first thing that I tried. I have now re-booted (cold) multiple times. This did not resolve the problem.

Buratinio : Go to system settings > Wake time max it up to around 60 minutes if you are really hate it.

It's a bit hard to read (cuz it's small).

I'm looking for a notification app that can receive generic push messages but allow removal of notifications from the server.

I've tried things like Pushover, but it's one-way. I need 2-way.

The use case is for a messaging app.

I need to be able to alert a user that he has new messages pending on all of his devices.

If the message is read on any device or online, I need a mechanism to remove the notification from all (other) devices.

Is there anything like that out there? I've searched for hours.

Hey! Thanks for the input I managed to find that but it's not the same as mini View that's more like the feature on the iphone where it just brings the top of the screen down.. a bit less useful than mini View but anyways thank you!!!

You might try downgrading your Thunderbird to your previous version. i wouldn't recommend downgrading as low as the one described in the link, just back to the version you had before.
