Glad it worked for you. But just in case it helps to understand what a reset does, the name "factory reset" can be misleading. All it does is delete files in the /data partition (settings, user-installed apps, all app data). It doesn't do anything to the /system partition, where the ROM lives. So it won't actually undo updates and return you to the Android version the device was originally loaded with. It's a "factory reset" in the sense that it "resets the device to the state it would be in if it had left the factory with the system software it currently has installed". Some people try to say "factory data reset" to make this clearer.

So I'm not surprised that it's now on 13. I guess the problem was some data file that was incompatible with the A13 update and was removed by the reset.

Sorry, you don't have a search function in the system Settings, or you don't have a "notification history" option? Both are standard Android features, not Samsung things, and have been for several years. What version of Android is the "new" work phone running?

Thanks to those who pointed to LastPass. I do indeed have that running. I've set "Display over" to not allowed. It doesn't take away the icon. Then I tried "Accessibility" > LasPass (left it on) and found "LastPass shortcut". It was set "On" so I turned it off and the icon went away. Wonderful!

I have a couple accts on my phone and need to move some contacts between accts but not all. I cannot find out how to.

The two movies that really rocked my system was Pearl Harbor (the bombing segment) and the D-day landing in Saving Private Ryan. The planes flying through my house and dodging the bullets on Normandy beach were so realistic with the surround audio.

So the question is which LTE bands does Verizon use and which bands does that phone support? You may want to do your own checks, but from the quick web searches I did it did not look hopeful.

(The "CDMA" standard doesn't use SIMs, and LTE isn't a CDMA technology. So while Verizon are historically a CDMA network talking about a "CDMA SIM" just causes confusion. Best just to say "will it work with a Verizon SIM?").

In the current version of PlayerPro, you can go to Settings -> Browsers and under "Playlists" tap "Choose smart playlists". Then just uncheck the boxes

My ex is stalking me and I have gone through 24 devices in 2 years. I think he has help. Shell app, work profile, Calculator and clock. Do I need a lawyer and device forensics. Oh cops no help. Stalker is ex cop, he is also a predator and digital peeping tom. He is also using my PayPal, Amazon ( yes he gave me an amazon alexa as my first gift and heard at least 3 other women he is stalking and was using my Amazon to listen to them) Have parental apps and apparently he signs into my device through guest user as PC SYNC. How do I stop him???? He stalks the sex workers because nobody cares and young women on Facebook. Anyone with daughters, wives and mothers should be scared. The videos he has on his PC omg!!!!!!! Sick, Sick man. Do I need a lawyer? how do I stop this perverted pychopath? More importantly he has stolen my identity, owns all my social media and unable to recover as everyone I know is now being watched. I have become a porn star and now an artist/digital creator on FB. did you see samsung smart manager. it gives the option to store especially whatsapp contents in sd card. You can access the videos and audios and delete in sd card. the app still works as usual by using internal storage of the apps space.
Hi,Hadron, I also came to know that this feature is not stlll available in whatsapp app which should have a settings to effect.
and whatsapp says it is improving on that.
But why it has not became a regular feature?
You know that whatsapp videos if you have groups would flood internal storage and manually moving videos would only move those videos selected like copy and paste.
But would it not be nice if you allow those features so that you could just delete the contents you do not need to swell up the storage.
or is there any idea , you could give to avoid the internal storage from swelling through the medias

I do on my browser, but when I use the apk on my phone I don't want it to have ads, and I also won't be able to download an ad blocker on android tv
