Find word on page in ANY app

Just to clarify, there's going to be big difference between actual text (searchable) and an image of text (not searchable).
For the former, depending on the app you're referring to it might require him to just copy-and-paste the text into a separate file, and then just use any text editor or word processor app to open that file and use the search function. Or if the app includes the functionality of saving to a text file that would be a lot simpler.
For the latter, when an image is involved (i.e. a jpg or tiff or whatever) it might be more involved. To get actual text, it would require printing out the image (in reasonably high resolution), and use an OCR utility to convert the printed image to text. And don't be surprised if the resulting text has errors, with text to text its all just digital copying but with image to text it's more similar to an analog to digital process, text to image to text.

Thank you, I think we'll try copying and pasting into a searchable document.

MMS duplicates from Google Voice

Yeah, it's not necessary to link the two. I prefer to keep them both separated and almost always just rely upon my conventional phone service most of the time, with GV being just a backup for certain situations. But some people are just the opposite, or they like linking the two so they have those GV online features working with both numbers.

Why is my phone using too much ram on idle?

hahaha because I want to be able to play games hehe anyway thanks for the answer hehe.
Manually manipulating memory is just micromanaging something you shouldn't do, Android's inherent memory management is more advanced than any of us are. When you start up a gaming app it gets loaded into active memory and the memory management 'pushes' out idle processes. If the app requires more RAM than your phone can provide, that is a problem but one that's about using an app that's beyond the capabilities of the device itself, not how it handles memory. If you're into higher end games you need to invest more into buying a phone with a lot of RAM (and a fast processor -- CPU and GPU).

Looking for an Android app that will allow me to use only the 3 apps I've explicitly whitelisted

Ok, I asked a friend in Germany.
This person has internet addiction issues, and so has used apps to help with the same sort of thing that you are asking for.

An app called

Stay Focused

is what was recommended.

This is an app that I have no personal experience with, but my friend swears by it, and is still using it.

A link from samsung child p***

The final results 30,000 total links 884 with "issues" 19,995 right to samsung. Links with scripts too. Id say its malicious. Why would samsung do such a thing

Yeh, that's apparently some premium service that this Link Check offers to their users. As I don't have a Link Check account and nor do I use a Samsung device, I don't think I can help you much more.

Good luck!

Download New iPhone X Ringtone for any Smartphone

I thought I was just feeling insecure when my fiance would just be on his phone at odd hours, until I decided to take a chance to know, knowing is better than self doubts and it was exactly what happened when I employed the services of this particular hacker I came across by chance to help check my husband’s phone into-to. Now I know when he’s telling the truth and how to curtail her, I think it is not a drastic step if it’ll make you feel better. My life got better, I stopped using my precious time to bother about her indiscretions and channeled my energy positively. If you are feeling insecure and you need to get access to your partners mobile phone without them knowing,
what does this have to do with iphone ringtones and this thread?

and i'm sorry but hacking some ones phone is not cool.....even if your significant other is cheating on you.

i hope you are no longer with this person and have moved on.

maybe this should have its own thread?

i also alerted the mods.......if anything i would remove the phone numbers and email. anything about hacking phones which is illegal will not be discussed here.

weird email from Samsung?

I'd download the original ROM from Samsung ans re-flash it, that will get rid of anything that's messed with the system partition. - I'm not a Samsung expert, but I'd think you'd use Odin for this.
Thats the thing my phone is not rooted. Its never been flashed
that is not what he is saying. head on over to sammobile and find the firmware specific for your device and flash it using odin. a firmware is the same thing when you update your phone thru the phone's settings except this can also be done manually.

Trying To Root Fire HD 10

Android is a Linux. Not just in my humble opinion, but two of the most important sources:

"Android is a Linux distribution according to the Linux Foundation,[183] Google's open-source chief Chris DiBona,[184]..."

-- source

You're guaranteed to get arguments about that, but...whatever! Having used UNIX and then Linux for 35 years, I know a *nix system when I see one. I'm typing on one right now--my Android phone. :)

Everything you want to do on your Kindle, and then some, are doable on my Kindle but, as I said, I rooted it and turned it into a regular Android tablet. I strongly disliked its UI, and really disliked not being able to use the apps and features I knew it could support...if not locked down by Amazon.

I don't agree with you, however, that Amazon sucks. They put out a line of products with a distinct purpose in mind, and the products do that well. But for someone like me, who wanted a real Android tablet, it just wouldn't do. So I changed it. :D

If Android is Linux and Fire is Android is Fire Linux? :D

I don't know Linux yet but hoping to get a cheap used laptop to run it on soon. Until then I don't really feel comfortable rooting this tablet. I suppose I'll tolerate it the way it is for a little while longer. It's still annoying and we'll just have to agree to disagree that Amazon Sucks! :)
