Lol. I agree, (I have to, I'm getting on a bit) but that reminded me again of when I was eight or nine and not into music at all (but my oldest sister next to me was) with my uncle swinging around to me while lamenting the detioration of modern music playing on the radio (late '60s at that time) saying "It's all : I said yeah yeah yeah" and stomped off in disgust. I hadn't got a clue. :p

Samsung s10 lite's vibration issue

Hi you all!
I got a new Samsung s10 lite, after useing Samsung s8 for a couple of year.
All in all, I'm very pleased from those devices, except for one annoying issue-
I choose Heartbeat vibration pattern (setting), but in both devices it ignores me...and vibrate in Ticktock vib. pattern.
I like it to vibrate gentely and shortly, and it's appear that Samsung dosen't anable it...
I've tryed the Good Vibreation app (free version) to set another vibration, but the device's vib. patterns are predominant.
Any suggestion on how to customize the vib. pattern as I choose and like?

Hello World app

I have been following video tutorials on Android Studio and I am referred to the hello world app.
I found the video tutorial and all went well until about 5 minutes in on the "activity_main.xml" page. there are no Design and Text buttons on the bottom left as in the video. the display appears to be set in design.
How do I switch to text mode or get the buttons?

It seems as though Code and Design in the top right corner do the same thing. Perhaps this is a version issue.

Help J5 decrypt eMMC

I have a second phone here, same model, which I bought for testing. I did not configure any security such as PIN or pattern lock on that phone. I did a backup of the eMMC, but in that backup I can access the userdata image and read all files like photos without problem.

thats why I came to the conclusion that the encryption only depends on the pattern lock which was set on the other phone...

anyway, I can solder the eMMC back to the original phone, I guess then the userdata partition might get formated. The question is: do I have a way to extract the key for decrypting the userdata backup, once the phone is running again?

No, no, it's not that bad. :) Just sometimes, a character I didn't intend to press gets printed from my finger barely sliding over it. [It could make for some hilariously misspelled words...but I like to give each post a quick once-over prior to submitting. :D]

Error reading file problem in video edit

Thank you. I tried Moto/Lenovo's support software. It was useless. Got on the phone with support & fixed. Cleared storage in 2 places. Found that DND had been activated. No idea how. Reset that. It works now.
