Just want to repeat what @Fox Mulder wrote -- that swollen battery is a not a good situation and you definitely should not ignore that as a potentially dangerous problem. Remove that battery now and take it to a place that recycles old batteries.

As for that phone itself, a S5 Mini is pretty dated and whatever version of Android it's currently running will also be quite dated and no longer receiving any updates. A lot of its apps will also be dated and no longer supported . This creates a situation where have old hardware and old software so you need be even more careful than usual whenever you're doing anything involving online access. Just keep in mind there a security and privacy issues involved when you use an out-of-date device like this.

I know this is late and all however better late than never right? Anyways I have the S10 and I have the GO SMS Pro text app installed. When you are in the app and tap on a conversation with someone. - At the top right is the person icon you would tap on that, and than "Notification" and within there is a section for "Ringtone". I just changed mine and changed it for someone else. Hopefully that helps you out.

as long as you have twrp all is not lost. did you make a nandroid backup before flashing lineage? as long as you have twrp you can either restore a nandroid bckup or flash another rom as @MrJavi is suggesting.

Hi. New here. Not sure of my wifes model, but also a Galaxy. We both have the same issue. A lot of times when a contact replies within a couple minutes, we do not get notification. I say, a lot of times, because it seems to be intermittent. One day we'll get notifications, other days not. Seems to occur mostly with popular contacts. I've combed through settings but haven't found anything to get notifications with all replies.

I update my Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini to Lineageos 16 and after wipe cache Davi.. I installed OpenGapps Arm Android 9.0 and pico and i wiped again the phone, after this i waited 40 minute and the phone was still at the boot logo of lineageos, sometime it bring me back at TWRP Recovery Mode but still nothing, so i used my backup to ask for help.

Unfortunately that's not a vast amount of information to go on. Is there any pattern to which ones work and which do not, e.g. who is sending them? It could be the provider, or it could perhaps be a problem of message sizes (different networks can have different limits, and I'm not sure what happens when someone sends a message that's OK on their network but above the limit on yours).

1.When data length less than 907 bytes successfull sent
2.When data length more than 908 bytes mHal (where mHal = Ixyz::getService()) its becoming null.
