Different rules
There is no one and only way to play Checkers. Everyone has various habits and usually prefers to play exactly the same way as in the past, that is why decide on your favourite rules:

American Checkers (English Draughts) Capturing is mandatory but the pieces cannot capture backwards. The Queen doesn't have long moves but only one step. The queen has ability to move and capture backwards.

International Checkers Capturing is mandatory and all the pieces can capture backwards. Also the queen moves differently, it has long moves – it means that the queen can move any distance diagonally if the square is not blocked.

Spanish Checkers (Damas) These rules are based on the international but the piece cannot capture backwards;

Turkish Checkers (Dama) Dark as well as light squares of the board are used. Pieces start on the second and third rows, do not move diagonally but forward and sideways. The way that queens move are similar to the chess queen.

The Bug Butcher is an intense action shooter, wrapped in stylistic 2D art, and smeared with juvenile humor where timing and fierce reflexes are paramount in protecting your fragile squishy body! The core mechanics hold old ties from the classic arcade shooters, where you shoot vertically, but with modern day twists. You are Harry, a brash and tenacious exterminator who has a knack for decimating bugs.

Harry’s current assignment takes him to the infested futuristic research facility on planet Zoit. The surviving and dwindling number of scientists employed him for his slaughtering skills. Harry’s mission: survive until the decontamination of the building is complete, hoard coins like his life depended on it, and protect the scientists at all costs. Watch out for the spiders as they have a particular fondness for rubber encased scientists. After landing, you will move from room to room through the facility blasting rockets, lasers, and wielding the power of lighting upwards at anything not human.
