Once you do change your phone over to your own Google account, than things like the Play Store will be tied to your account..

I'm going to have to be pretty careful about this. I think my google authenticator is linked to the gmail account I can't access. I have backup codes written down for some things, but not all. Going to look into how to backup everything without actually having any access to the e-mail it's linked to. Indeed it does not seem trivial.

It would depend on the compatible rom you choose flash. I know for the Note 4's there is a debloat script .zip which removes all Google and Samsung apps as well.

I need an android application that can communicate with the raspberry pi by basically turning the phone into a sensor (Gyroscope & Accelerometer) and a receiver and transceiver. If possible, it should be able to communicate through Python.

I got an Android update last night and that fixed the syncing issues I was having. I think that with this second update so close to the previous one that it was an issue with the update.
To answer your question; yes it was syncing the playlists but they were showing up as empty playlists on my phone.

if the ring app used to work on a locked screen before, then it might have been an update that caused it to not work. you may have to contact the developer and see if there is a work around or not. or you may have to wait for a further update that will hopefully fix it.

Actually if your phone has an external sd card supported..you can increase it by the swap method..of course, you will always find detractors in life for every move you do..and there will always be people that say that doesn't work..but this method is proven to work..it's improved my Note4..

So in the swap method..if you decided to go through that..don't do neither the Fat32 nor the Ext4..just the Swap..add just 1gb of RAM..you'll notice the big difference..

I am developing an app to use a fingerprint scanner. The scanner connects to the phone via Wifi. When it's connected I do not know how to get the phone to use mobile data at the same time for internet. Even if there is a setting on the phone I could change which I cannot find I will need this to be auto or done via code. I tried setting mobile data always active in dev options but still same results.
Please Help

Not with Android.
Google has balked at this issue.

Android is only allowed to record sound from the loudspeaker, via the built inmicrophone.

There are ways around this, but your phone needs a headphone jack, and you would need some external recording equipment.

Greetings: 40+ yrs in Elex and Confuser repair...so I am kinda behind on this newer stuff. I have XT1031 that went into bootloop and now won't get past the 1st splash screen. This notcto long after it asked for update, which I refused. It had 4.4.2. After the forced update it showed 4.4.4. Prior the "stuck on stupid" it was great from day 1. Around the update it got sliw and started locking up in app transitions and during typing messages. Last count of memory was 72%. I think this 1 is the 8G not the 16G. I went to a E2, which I hated, now on a E4, 1 week old to me. To new to evaluate. It seens much faster. But then they all do at 1st. Id like 2 repair my old G1. 5 years and not a scratch or glitch until the phantom update.

This is a pretty comprehensive comparison between the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max:

Based on these samples, I hate to say it, but video from the iPhone appears better to me. Photos from the devices are more of a tossup, with the S20 Ultra crushing in two specific departments: zoom photos and low light photos in ultra wide mode.

Here is a comparison of the low light photos in ultra wide:

It also appears to perform a lot better in the dark with the selfie camera using flash:

It also has selfie camera night mode which the iPhone 11 Pro Max lacks.

Ultimately SuperSaf concludes exactly what you might expect: there is no CLEAR winner. They're both great but have different strengths and weaknesses.

The clear win here for the Ultra is the zoom which is why many of us would buy the device in the first place. The clear loss for the Ultra seems to be in video stabilization and color in shadows.

Are you by any chance using a third party launcher, or other apps such as calling apps, messaging apps, or any other that runs continuously?

I ask because on a low performance device there are some apps that use way too much power for such devices.

Case in point, I had a phone with 1GB of RAM, and I really liked Apex Launcher.

The phone had most if not all of the symptoms you describe, even if I got rid of almost all my user apps.

I later discovered that while Apex Laucher itsrlf only uses about 30MB of RAM, the Google Analytics built into it used a whopping 200MB of RAM all the time!

Together, that makes about 25% of the memory used.
Now add whatever the system needed to work.

No wonder that poor phone was acting up!

So, I ditched that launcher, and now look for apps that do not have Google Analytics built into them.

It makes the device much happier, I am much happier, and Google can get bent for all I care.

There may be a permission on the app itself, namely 'Download Files Without Notification'.

This is a particularly scary permission, as the name of it implies exactly what it can do.

This is a permission that can be used for both good and bad.

If the app has this permission, there is a possibility that you may be able to disable it in the phone's app settings for that app- but there may not be any control over it in the app settings within the app.

Off the top of my head. Do you have roaming properly set up for your mobile contract? Have you tried the sim card in another phone to see what happens?
You could try to speak to your networks customer service. I don't think it's the case since any smartphone should be able to handle it, but there are also kind of frequency restrictions in India.(https://www.certification-india.com/en/wpc/what-is-wpc/)

It might help if you told us (well, the developers in the house, at least) what you're trying to accomplish and what's going wrong. It's good to include the relevant code snippets (of course) but that doesn't really tell us anything about the problem.
