Are more expensive but also transfer data much faster. In all honesty, I'm not sure how big the difference is in quality/speed and if you definitively should get a certain type for specific phones. I splurged on an expensive card thinking I'd use it for years and years (and i've been correct).

I made the mistake of buying lower priced SD cards- twice.

PCNY didn't work at all in the device I had at the time.
I took it back and paid twice as much for a Sans Disk that (still) works great.
Lexar was supposedly good, I had heard.
Both Lexar cards I bought crashed, with complete data loss, one after only one month.
So I bought more Sans Disk to replace them, and they work great.

I won't even look at other brand SD cards anymore.

There are a ton of downloading issues with Google lately.

Juzt look at the reviees that people are posting, and the amount of people ha ing the issue that are posting about it online.

The solution seems to be to update Google Play Store, update Google Play Services, and then go into the app settings snd cldar the data for both of them.

Then wsit 5-10 minutes and open the Play Store.

Be sure to reset your preferences first thing.

After Google downloads some thing of its own (it may or may not), try downloading your stuff again.

Open up De elopers Options and cind then disable the setting that allows toast messages for all ANR (apps not running).

If this is not it, there are third party apps that can tell you what app is posting the toast message(s).

For Windows, as others have said your Windows Explorer itself will do what you want.

For Linux, well actually I prefer terminal interfaces so I may not be able to help. But have you not tried your default graphical file browser? Which app that is will depend on which distribution you are using, but they virtually all come with one.

It's easy to confuse a random notification for a dating app notification since "hearts" are used to represent so many different things (liking someone's post on a social network, fitness and heart rate, and random things like Samsung's weird use in this case.)

I can't identify this specific icon but as others have said this DEFINITELY looks like a fitness app. Or maybe it's a girl running away from someone. And maybe that girl is you?

In all honesty if you see this notification and the first thing you think of is infidelity and cheating than I think you need to have a serious heart-to-heart with your significant other, regardless of whether or not you can identify the icon. I'll keep looking and hopefully someone chimes in with an answer but please come back and tell us if you solve it yourself!

For my purposes there would be little difference in a new device, and my low definition eyes ain't gonna notice how fancy the new screen is. I'm content, I'm no slave to capitalism's mind games.

After doing an update to OS 9, I found that the sound notification didn't work. After considerable time, and following all suggestions given, it still didn't function. Again, more time as I had set up the settings within the app. This time I went within the app to: settings>apps and notifications>textra> permissions...make sure all permissions are granted. You do not need to grant permission to camera, location or phone. Sound notification comes back (if you set it up properly).

There is an Auto restart player option, but it's turned off, the option says "Restart last played stream when the app starts up". The opnly other possibly relevant option is Open TuneIn in Car mode, which is also turned off.

why are you interested in link2sd now? most phones these days do not need it. is your phone rooted? what phone do you have?

Are the same notifications always at the top? There are persistent notifications that will always be at the top of the list, with push notifications below them. For example: I use a VPN on my Note 10+ and the VPN connection status is always displayed. If I get a message notification, it will be below the VPN status. Likewise, any time Do Not Disturb is set a persistent notification reminds me of that.

You can adjust the settings to reduce or turn off any notifications you don't want displayed.

By flashing the wrong rom, what components would've fried. Just so you know, it worked perfectly fine before i advanced wiped every thing off of the device and i tried to flash the .zip using TWRP not using Odin.

If it doesn't work, try force stop erase data and catche and run the app again.

It is more secure to download from F-Droid than using any app to download its own update. I guess, I've had NewPipe so long I just trust it. Im sure F-Droud will have 18.2 available for download very soon.

Please have a look at this post. It'll help explain why it's so difficult to identify random icons.

Don't lose all hope, though! Every once in a while, we get one right.

I kbow that this is an older post, but I am hoping that I can put some light where there seems to be very little.

First, if you can, change that timer for the deletion of files.
If you continue doing what you have in the past, it should not need to be active in the first place.

Second, a folder/file called .thumbnails or the like is what is often referred to as a 'junk' file. Thumbnails are the low resolution, tiny pictures that you see when looking through thepics and videos on your device.
These thumbnails greatly speed up the loading time of the menu in apps like Gallery and Video Player.
Generally, lower quality apps like the ones that come with a device use these, and each app can want an entire set of them for each piece of media.
On a lower end device (like mine), this can quickly consume an undesireable amount of memory.

Luckily, I found a Gallery app that is also an editor and a video player- and that does not need thumbnails at all.
Even with thousands of photos and hundreds of videos, the app loads up in mere seconds.

Simple Gallery Pro, by SimpleMobile Tools

Most large app stores have this app.

In my device, thumbnails were stored inside a folder called .thumbnails inside the DCIM folder.

The trick to keep thumbnails from reappearing again and again is to delete the .thumbnail FOLDER and then add a .thumbnail FILE in its place.

This fools the system into thinking that thumbnails exist, so it does not make more.

The period before the folder/file is very important, as this is how the system knows that the media is 'hidden'.

So when attempting this action, be sure to click 'Show Hidden Files' in the File Manager.

There is also a File Manager app made by the same Simple Mobile Tools, called Simple File Manager Pro.

The two work great together.

Also, the Gallery app mentioned above also has a 'recycle bin' that is extra insurance against unwanted deletion of files.

Because the app also allows the viewing of 'hidden' media, you can even look at your thumbnails before deleting them.

I think WPS Office can access any office files located on your phone device storage. So, try to download those files from Google Drive to your device storage, and then open them with WPS Office.

Do you typically leave 'Location' enabled or disabled? If the latter, try enabling it so your phone's GPS and local cell towers get registered internally. Even if you prefer to leave Location disabled, it might help have your phone get its own locale settings established at least periodically.

soft reset? the only soft reset is clearing cache. any other kind of reset also wipes data. you can do a factory reset within the phone's settings or you can do a hard reset by powering off and then entering recovery mode (usually some kind of button combo's) and perform a factory reset from there. both will wipe data, however, so i'm not sure what you mean by a soft reset.
