Looking at Google's Distribution dashboard https://developer.android.com/about/dashboards/, Jellybean accounts for only 3.2% of Android devices. But it's still (for now) usable. I've still got an old phone stuck on Jellybean 4.1.1, which I use at hpme as an internet radio/audio streaming device, and as GPS in the car.

Do your kids have phones with a data allowance? Have a look and see if your tablet has connected to any networks you don't recognize, and if so, check the kids' phones to see if they've set up a hotspot.

I still haven't given up hope...

I think I've made some progress.
Despite the phone not being recognized by my computer, I decided to try and use the MTK Flash tool
on my phone.

After some initial hiccups (not working at all) I did manage to flash the original ROM to the phone successfully!

But... there was no life to the phone.
The boot loop was gone and the buttons (On/Up/Down vol.) had no effect on the phone.
Also the charging light still does not come on.

So a successful ROM flash but still clinically dead.

P.S. I should also add, I opened up the phone before the ROM flash and disconnected the non-removable battery but it didn't stop the boot loop at the time, once the battery was re-connected.

What OTG connections have you tried to use? Just in case it's a specific device or app that isn't working.

The weird thing is that I had this exact same phone before and was able to use the OTG functions. I broke that phone and bought the exact same phone and can't get it to work. Mind you it wasn't as simple as plug and play, I had to use developer options to turn on USB debugging and put the USB configuration in MTP. But that isn't working now for this phone. I can't remember if I am missing an important step or if it's some glitch with this new phone?
But I have tried using a OTG cable and a OTG card reader...neither worked.

Hi all,

I finally managed to get a new router from my ISP, and switched to 5 Ghz. This solved my issues! I'm not sure the solution is only in the change of frequency, because I also noted a significant improvement in the speed.

Well... Best advice is try different apps, hate to burst your bubble, but the mostly of it, is is a simple and best way how to chang your font and folder color, highly recomended ADW.

Mostly pinch and zoom, with crop the entire image over, whatever yoou can really rely on different Galleries apps.

I trying to run my app (GTA SA Mobile + SAMP Android + Bass lib) but it crashes after run. This crash appears when i include any library, for example i tryied it with libsqliteX.so
Otherwise, when i compile without (bass lib) it runs good.

I don't know what can i do, i tried anything but nothing works.
My steps is very easy:
1. Compile libsamp.so via cygwin
2. Put libsamp.so and other bass libs into APK (build69v108.apk\lib\armeabi-v7a\)
3. Use APK Easy Tool -> compile
4. Run an app

Tested on phone:
- Redmi Note 7
- Android ver: 9 PKQ1. 180904.001
- MIUI ver: MIUI Global 10.21 stable
- Core ver: 4.4.153-perf+

Problem solved.
It's the original launcher that has built in ads,
Set after several times of swiping up.
Simply installing a new phone launcher from play store, ad free launcher, will fix the problem.

The ads are part of the launcher, set to when you swipe up after 10 times or so.
Installing a ad free launcher from play store fixes the issue.

Problem solved,
It's not a Trojan, it's just ads built into the Launcher, replace it with an ad free launcher from play store. That's all.

HEY,no I'm using SD card as portable storage. All the troubles I'm having now was because the last SD card was used as internal storage and got corrupted. If I do want to go ahead and remove SD card, how do I do that? Just tap where it says eject SD card?
