Meety : dating app

Then I don't think it's the app for me. When I'm interested in someone: I'm not seriously thinking about romance. The way I see it: You can't become boyfriend and girlfriend without becoming friends, so it's better to become friends before seriously considering a romance.
I think you are a serious person who undertakes only serious and stable relationships. That's the best but a lot of people aren't like that and aim straight for a romance.

If my application is successful one day you will not be among the users i guess...;)

Thank you for your feedback.

how to transfer app data from any android to any android without using google's servers?

if you have a samsung phone you can use Smart Switch

it does not backup or restore text messages unfortunately. however you can use SMS Backup and Restore
I believe that newer versions do transfer messages as well. I have texts that predate my S22 Ultra on it from my Note 10+. While I do have SMS backup and Restore on the phone I don't have any current backups.

Edit: Just realized this thread is 2 years old. Maybe this information will still be helpful to someone.

Help Audio Output In Mono Even Though Stereo Option Selected

I got somewhat the same issue on my Oppo A54, CPH2239. Things like AIMP, YouTube and other social media stuff appear to be playing stereo audio as they should, but I had this 3rd party dual channel Function generator app that worked like a champ on all my previous devices, strangely mixing the both channels into mono. So I got a stereo tester, the same thing happened. The MIDI player app I use is sounding muddy no matter what, especially Reverb/Chorus is enabled and the instrument panning doesn't work either and this was all distracting.

So, I checked for updates and updated the OS from android 10 to 11. Fast forward, I now know that the issue has something to do with these Audio classes - AAAudio, OpenSL and AudioTrack. On my phone, AudioTrack is the only API that is able to play stereo Audio. And after the update, maybe AudioTrack has been set as the default, Otherwise I should change each app's settings explicitly to use that. Tragedy is that the majority of apps doesn't even have a proper audio class selection tool. Especially games. Games would either use AAAudio or OpenSL since the latencies are lower(?) Than AudioTrack. So now I'm missing out on any new stereo audio experience. Does this supposed to happen like so? Or is my chipset or something (MediaTek Helio P35) faulty?

Exporting Text Messages from Note 8 to PC ?

SMS backup and restore from the play store will do this for you. Have it backup to Google drive, then login to Google drive on your computer.

Yes... I have never deleted any messages since i got the phone in 2019. Its my diary with people.

Well this is the app that I use, also. But I have no idea if it can handle that many messages

Device question - tried to access

I'm sure it's very common actually. TOR(The Onion Router) is very much a community effort, with people voluntarily running the TOR nodes on their own private computers. I used to use TOR myself, because I'm in China, to bypass the Great FireWall censoring. I certainly wasn't using TOR for anything nefarious, like hacking attacks.

The TOR Entries, TOR Exits, and all routing can be done on volunteer computers from users' own homes. It's different to a commercial VPN service, like Astrill or Express, where the nodes are located in commercial data centres.

Awesome! Thank you for the detailed response and image.

The TOR exit relays were coming from IPs in Germany and the US. The residential IP came from an address in Singapore. I'm trying to figure out if the attacker slipped up and used his actual IP from his home location before switching to the TOR relays OR if the Singapore IP is more likely to be a residential VPN (correct me if I'm wrong but these tend to have frequent outages and are a bit slower?)

For context, the attacker was denied access via the Singapore IP on the original attack, but managed to gain access with the TOR relays about an hour later.

Roll Call! What's up 2023?!?!?!

Hi all, I'm well (as are my wife and rescue cat). We now have 3 grandchildren (5 ,3 1/2, and 1) how our daughter manages in a tiny apartment ground floor flat I can't imagine. We're still All Linux/FOSS and off to Croatia on holiday in a month . I'm still considering changing to an EV adn prices for used ones seem to be coming down quite nicely in the UK right now.
