Fast battery drain even with new bigger battery

https://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_z5-7534.php
It's not surprising that a battery in a seven year old phone is failing, it's actually expected. All smartphone batteries age, that's unavoidable no matter if they're used on a daily basis or just sitting idle for years. Any third-party battery that's actually going fit will also be about that same age so its usage life won't be that good. It's not like any battery manufacturer will re-tool their factory to make a battery for an otherwise obscure phone model.
Basically, you should expect bad battery life in a phone this old.

I really need help please

It' an LG-D160 and i'm seeing it on the screen when i turn on the phone.
It happened randomly but i bought it like this, it was really cheap.
I can't do anything to turn it on becose of this warning.
the only thing you can try is to see if you can flash a firmware update. just make sure that you flash the correct firmware for your phone. they are very device specific and flashing the wrong one could brick the phone.

Merry Christmas 2022

"As the holiday season of 1938 came to Chicago, Bob May wasn’t feeling much comfort or joy. A 34-year-old ad writer for Montgomery Ward, May was exhausted and nearly broke. His wife, Evelyn, was bedridden, on the losing end of a two-year battle with cancer. This left Bob to look after their four-year old-daughter, Barbara.

One night, Barbara asked her father, “Why isn’t my mommy like everybody else’s mommy?” As he struggled to answer his daughter’s question, Bob remembered the pain of his own childhood. A small, sickly boy, he was constantly picked on and called names. But he wanted to give his daughter hope, and show her that being different was nothing to be ashamed of. More than that, he wanted her to know that he loved her and would always take care of her. So he began to spin a tale about a reindeer with a bright red nose who found a special place on Santa’s team. Barbara loved the story so much that she made her father tell it every night before bedtime. As he did, it grew more elaborate. Because he couldn’t afford to buy his daughter a gift for Christmas, Bob decided to turn the story into a homemade picture book.

In early December, Bob’s wife died. Though he was heartbroken, he kept working on the book for his daughter. A few days before Christmas, he reluctantly attended a company party at Montgomery Ward. His co-workers encouraged him to share the story he’d written. After he read it, there was a standing ovation. Everyone wanted copies of their own. Montgomery Ward bought the rights to the book from their debt-ridden employee. Over the next six years, at Christmas, they gave away six million copies of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer to shoppers. Every major publishing house in the country was making offers to obtain the book. In an incredible display of good will, the head of the department store returned all rights to Bob May. Four years later, Rudolph had made him into a millionaire.

Now remarried with a growing family, May felt blessed by his good fortune. But there was more to come. His brother-in-law, a successful songwriter named Johnny Marks, set the uplifting story to music. The song was pitched to artists from Bing Crosby on down. They all passed. Finally, Marks approached Gene Autry. The cowboy star had scored a holiday hit with “Here Comes Santa Claus” a few years before. Like the others, Autry wasn’t impressed with the song about the misfit reindeer. Marks begged him to give it a second listen. Autry played it for his wife, Ina. She was so touched by the line “They wouldn’t let poor Rudolph play in any reindeer games” that she insisted her husband record the tune.

Within a few years, it had become the second best-selling Christmas song ever, right behind “White Christmas.” Since then, Rudolph has come to life in TV specials, cartoons, movies, toys, games, coloring books, greeting cards and even a Ringling Bros. circus act. The little red-nosed reindeer dreamed up by Bob May and immortalized in song by Johnny Marks has come to symbolize Christmas as much as Santa Claus, evergreen trees and presents. As the last line of the song says, “He’ll go down in history.”

Can someone please tell me what kind of notification icon this is.

just check your phone's notifications.......oh wait....this is not your phone. just ask the person. that's the easiest way to find out. and no i doubt that this is a dating app.

we get this question almost on a daliy basis. the problem is that there are millions upon millions of apps that use notification icons. so unless the app is like youtube or facebook, you are only going to get guesses from us.

I Admin/Mod/do security for many sites and found a hidden bug in a hot link a member posted.(the member was not in on the hack, he unknowingly put the link up for others, that is why hot linking should not be allowed)

Upon investigating, I followed it to a hacker in a foreign country and eventually got the infection on my hard drive, after trying to pin him down for location.

Had to format my machine twice to get rid of the bug !

I do vBulliten and Xenforo platforms and have likes/dislikes with them both.

Even did a couple of phpBB sites, so easy even a cave man can do it !

lol

A sorely missed feature after an upgrade

this is not an android thing but your phone's manufacturer is what determines how your phone fully works. each manufacturer can add what we call a skin on top of android. for example samsung's OneUI. each "skin" makes the android experience different from other manufacturer's.

on my z fold 4, split screen is pretty easy to do. you can even save splitscreen shortcuts!

there are apps in the play store that can do split screens. maybe those might make it easier for you:
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=split+screen&c=apps

other than that, the only option is to either get used to it or go back to the older device.
Thanks for the suggestion, sadly all the trustworthy looking options for split screen don't work even with Dev tools enabled.
I have had this feature through 3 separate phones manufacturers and 6 models. Motorola on a deffy and edge, Sony experix 12, z, xz and the Asus Rog phone 3.it seams bizarre to rework a took that has been around and worked near flawlessly for so long for a mostly core Android experience from all of these distros.

And I wouldn't dare go back to my other device as I replaced it despite being relatively new due to what I can only asume is a CPU hitch or ram issue.
If I had more than 3 apps in tray any media being played had a chance to just frezze, requiering me to pull down the notification bar to re-initate the app.it was one hell of an annoying bug.
It could happen as many as 15 times in a 3 min video.
